As good as it would be for us to take 5800 to Everton we don't have a prayer of selling them all.
Never know I didnt think we had a chance of selling the 3000 for Wolves but we did.
This is a far more glamarous tie.... even my Dads going!

No rush at all.
-
Oh please be quiet, geesh! .. he had 5 minutes .. it takes a good 10 to get into the game.
Smalley for me offers more than Andy Liddell on the wing.
He can beat a man and is decent in the air, crossing aint bad either- goal against Swansea.

3 seats please mr beard
Seat for me please Beard
2 I think for Danny Mitton as well..
Oh and Cloughie

I remember Mark Hottes attempt at a diving header, when the ball was on the bloody floor!
-
One of the easiest groups to qualify from, yet we managed to balls it up.
Management and Players just not good enough, more so the players.
I have not seen a more wasteful player in possession than Gerrard the amount of time he just smacks it first time to the opposition is crazy.
1 decision that baffled me throwing Scott Carson in at the deep end in such an important game, and also behind a very inexperienced defence apart from Campbell. Like Sheridan dropping Pogliacomi for Josh Bell in a playoff Semi.

Davies, our only threat.

Cheers Council.. no Cinema, no Bowling... and now probably no Professional sport in Oldham.

The first leg was 0-0 wasnt it??
Nope 1-1 Eyres feekick, and Langley header I think after Miskelly had a mad moment and missed a deep cross.

My favourite person to boo. It was fantastic as everyone would go mental at him whenever he came near.
I'd add Brian Deane.
Remember when he scored that penalty at the opposite end to us for Bury, instead of celebrating infront of his own fans, he sprinted the full length of the pitch to gesture to the Oldham fans.

hey lets get this right - i slagged allott off when he signed - yes - but i have not constantly slagged him off - i have give the guy a chance and have written oin more than one occassion when he has done well that was including yesterday when i posted that was his best game of the season - unlike others who look through rose coloured glasses and have decided if they dont like anyone thats it.
but you still did not answer the question - ???
so i ll aks another why was it yesterday when we were crusing did we decide to sit back - why is it theat certain players are not 100% fit and yes that does include crossley - he wasnt fit yesterday so why the hell did Shez play him -
Don't think Sheridan had many other options, with Beresford injured, Crossley or inexperienced Josh Bell or whatever his name is?
And what was the question?
Allott got down to block the initial cross from Wellens, unfortunate to bounce right back to Wellens feet!
Oh and Stam was at fault partly for the first should have cleared.
Why sit back? As you say our lack of Fitness? not knowing how to defend a 2 goal lead? McDonald and Kilkenny going missing?
-
ok all you boo boys and girs who have just made Mark crossley your next target -
tell me this with the second goal if you are blaming crossley cmon tel me i am interested, what the hell was allot doing falling over when he was trying to tackle should of cleared it why didnt tell me cmon and why the hell did trotman not try and block the ball instead turning his back away whats all the about tel me i would be interestdd to hea all your expert comments
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm now let me think
oh yes now ricketts has gone no matter what happens crossley is going to be at fault -
Next target?
He's been gash all Season!
Invites constant pressure after we defend a situation with his poor kicking often into touch.. giving possesion back to the opposition in an instant. He is overweight, which for any professional sportsmen is not too good is it? Even worse when your a goalkeeper- where being agile is a must.
And nah lets jus blame Allott? Boo boys you say, you've been slagging Allott off all season.
-
Surprised no ones mentioned we may not keep Bertrand beyond this current loan deal. Plenty Champoinship clubs watching this lad and Chelski may want him to step up a class for the remainder of the season. In which case Hazell is needed.
How long have we got him for?
Till January like Kilkenny?

You're sick of the advert yet don't know what it is? You must pay more attention. -_-
THE SLING BOX - WATCH YOUR TV ANYWHERE!
-
Be patient it comes on after the adverts ! .................... and breath
Sick of hearing that bloody Sling Box Advert, whatever the hell one of them is.
-
Lol...beat you to the ideal world by seconds
Bugger lol.

The only other solution would be to offer Reuben on a pay-as-you-play deal, though it's unlikely he'd take that as I'm sure he'll be able to find another club.
I feel sorry for him, he's head and shoulders above Thompson but he'll probably have to go for financial reasons whilst Thommo rots in the reserves.
In an ideal world we could pay off John Thompson, reminds me of a cross between Mark Arber, Lee Sinnott and Robert Scott.

Oh for a character like Diego at BP, whatever his weakness may be he plays with passion and scores. Appears to be first to the ball when it breaks free and can head a ball, weighs about 4 stone less than Ricketts so the old hes fat and slow don't hold water, he can jump high enough to win enough headers. Shez biggest mistake? possibly not at least giving the lad a go, what was there to lose.
Still a legend as the best tic never to actually play for us for real. Sign him up.
Looks like he can attack the ball from a decent cross.
Already more than our current lot do (apart from Trottman)
Oh wait the decent cross is a problem also, sign Oviedos winger!

3-0 Tranmere with Greenacre scoring 2 and Shucker getting the other in the 90th minute and Ronnie M:censored:*e running down the touchline. Can't see us doing anything.
Got to be a One All
I'm sure Greenacres injured.
-
we lost again - why??
Erm, because we're simply not good enough?
-
Just to recap for you Cocko...
2:56 Header by Michael Ricketts(Walsall) from centre of penalty area (6 yards), comfortable save (caught) by Shane Higgs(Cheltenham).
31:56 Outswinging corner from right by-line taken right-footed by Michael Dobson(Walsall) to centre, shot by Michael Ricketts(Walsall) right-footed from left channel (18 yards), save (tipped round post) by Shane Higgs(Cheltenham).
35:02 Header by Michael Ricketts(Walsall) from centre of penalty area (6 yards), hit bar.
48:44 Shot by Michael Ricketts(Walsall) left-footed from left channel (20 yards), save (tipped over) by Shane Higgs(Cheltenham).
66:36 Shot by Michael Ricketts(Walsall) right-footed from left side of penalty area (18 yards), blocked by Michael Townsend(Cheltenham).
72:00 Walsall substitution: Michael Ricketts replaced by Troy Deeney (tactical).
Sums our team up if he had all those opportunities.
And we tonked Walsall 3-0!!
-
He's had a blinder today at Walsall and faced a keeper who's had the same. 4 on-target shots saved and hit the bar....
Hmmmmm........
Maybe so, did that for Walsall, not us.

I aint Crossleys biggest fan, but there's no way he is at fault for that goal.
