I agree with that but I think that's were the separate verdicts has been formulated from. She went back with Clayton, Evans rocked up later uninvited. Just putting across why I don't buy this "two or none" argument
Yeah I'll take that. But then how, if she hasn't (allegedly) drunk anymore, does her state of mind deteriorate to not remembering. Surely once u stop drinking you effectively start to sober up. I know it takes time, but she had spent an hour in the kebab house at this point so anything she had drunk previously would have already had taken its course? No expert, maybe rudemedic can clear that up?

1. I'd have stuck her in a taxi, paid for it and rang her and/or the driver to make sure she got home okay.
2. When I fight, I fight hard but clean. Also smart. If I were trying to convince the CCRC or a court of my innocence, I'd avoid going after the victim. I also wouldn't get sucked in by lawyers who would encourage such a course of action.
Alas, Ched and I are worlds apart.
Worlds apart? You speak as though you know the bloke personally and know his every indiscretion. It's getting tetchy on here and I don't want or mean it to but my two penneth.......
He has made (or someone has made for him) a website to put his side of the story across and try to protest his innocence. Now I apologise wholeheartedly if I missed it, but I don't see anywhere where he is encouraging anybody to 'go after' the victim, her family or her friends. If anybody does as a result of reading his site, that's not really his fault?
And as for the taxi thing. If she was in such a pitiful drunken state, then I too would put her in a taxi. However, video evidence points to the fact that she wasn't, and she was the one that approached CM and said she was going home with him. So while we are saying Evans is a despicable character for not putting her in a taxi, let's remember that he want even there at the time.
Also on this point, the men and the woman had been drinking, and as this whole sordid affair proves, drinking can impair your judgement and encourage you to do things that you would normally do when sober. Like sleep with a drunken girl who threw herself at you (Clayton) or cheekily ask if you could have a go (Evans) or agree to a spit roasting from two famous footballers (victim).
Now if the whole case is built on her not being able to remember any of the whole affair, then how can she have consented to one but not the other? It's two or none surely?
And a point that Tracey made earlier, that she felt safe back in her day and wasn't worried about violence or having her drink spiked. There is nothing to suggest there was any of that inn this case is there?

FTFY.
Point still stands though.

A disqualification from working with Children is perhaps the main one (may not be an automatic condition). Given that we have a youth team and children attending matches, measures would have to be put into place to monitor him and ensure compliance.
He hasn't been accused or tried for offences against a minor so why should he be banned from such activities. And frankly, to pin him as some predatory paedophile is way out of order, regardless of your stance on the original offence.

Ched might be very old by the time he clears his name. My feelings have changed slightly. I hate him more after reading his awful "Justice for Ched" website. He's clearly going after the victim and her friends and family. This is not the way to establish your innocence in such a case. For that alone, and regardless of whether a future court finds that the conviction was unsafe, I still hate him and want him never to play football again. It's true he's badly advised (his lawyers are milking him dry via the website and other ruses) but he's responsible for taking that advice. He's offereing money to anyone who will help him further sully the reputation of the victim. He's a grubby little :censored: who deserves nothing from anyone.
I've rad his site too. How is he clearly going after her and her family? He's trying to clear his name because he firmly believes he did no wrong and feels there was a miscarriage of justice. Ask yourself, if it was you, wouldn't you do as much as you could to clear your name? Or would you pander to the tabloids and just crawl in a hole and accept defeat?

You keep saying that while seemingly ignoring people explaining how this is some what different... or why they feel it is different...
Lee Hughes showed remorse, accepted his guilt, pledged to change, pledged to do community support work etc. He ticked all the boxes that Evans is refusing to tick.
Does any of that ring any bells for you or are you going to keep bring the debate down to the mud ?
And it has also been said many times that Evans isn't showing remorse because that would be admitting he had done wrong. Which he denies, therefore why would he apologise?
Does that ring any bells for you?

If the victim was your mum, sister, daughter, grandma you still holding the same opinion?
And if the accused was your dad, brother, son, grandad would you?

By revealing her identity several times and orchestrating a veritable witchhunt against her and her family. That's not to mention doing sod all to diffuse the hate messages sent to people affiliated to Sheffield United who withdrew their support after Sheffield United considered signing him. It has long term legal rammifications with securing other rape convictions in fear that their identiy may be exposed after a trial.
You strike me as someone who has skim-read over Ched Evans' website and based their entire opinion on that.
As opposed to yourself who was on the jury and personally know the girl involved? We are all making our minds up over what we have read on the Internet.

Having read his own take on how the night panned out - under i think the 'key facts' banner on the left hand side of the page, his own defence; paints him as a horrendous human being. .
Jesus. Hands up all those who have NEVER been out on the piss and trapped off with a girl, who has also had a drink, and ended up having sex with them at some location or other.
Anyone? Cos apparently, if you have then your a godamn dirty rapist!
And on that point, I know we have female members, so ask yourselves have you ever slept with a bloke after a few drinks? Well that's ok, because apparently this never ever happens so you can just erase it from your mind and pretend it never happened.
I've got to be honest, I was gutted when the story first broke so I looked it up. I've looked at as much stuff on the Internet as I can, including his own website, and I have to say, how he was ever convicted is beyond me. And if he had been a plumber or suchlike it would have probably been thrown out. Just my opinion........

appears that Rix's career actually doesn't appear to have suffered that much.
He was at Chelsea and now he's at Afc portchester. You don't think that's a downhill slide?
-
4 goals. Looks like I owe a fiver!
-
Think you have totally missed the point...the fact he is no numb nuts suggests he knows he can't let his career just peter out yet... People's comments of 'he has lost it' are totally unfounded...if he's a target for Johnson it's good enough for me
Being able to afford to send a kid to a private school doesn't necessarily mean you are rich...and the money you can earn out of football is a world apart anyways.
No, my point is just because he went to said school doesn't mean he ISNT a numbnuts.
And Rude, I take ur point about not wanting to be associated with him now....

Ex Bury Grammer lad suggests he's no fool too...he hasn't earned enough in his career so far to put his feet up
He is no ex Bury Grammar lad. He's ex-QEGS Blackburn, that's like saying someone is ex-Bluecoat when they are ex-Oldham Hulme
What has any of this got to do with anything? Ex Hulme grammar? Means what? His parents were rich enough to send him to a posh school. Means nothing if you don't apply yourself. I know plenty of people from rough schools who went on to do well and plenty of wasters that went to posh schools. We want him to score goals FFS not translate Latin.

Oh good god no!!!

So is it Bar-bay-dos or Bar-beer-dos?

An Everton supporting mate of mine posted something on Facebook (a link) about them trying to snap Richards up for a cut price 2mill. That's gotta be too cheap. Cheeky bastards.

Doesn't say what it's a teaser of. I'm gonna hazard a guess at Jenny's underwear.

That's the craziest penalty technique I have ever seen. Madness.

Well that one was easier! Go on fishul. Go to desktop site. Fixtures. Look for a little link that says download full list. Easy.

I can't get it to work either. Unable to verify.

Err, Neymar 10St 1lbs, 5ft 9in
Would he be "laughed off the park" in League 1 as well?
Absolutely. Little :censored: wouldn't last 5 minutes in league one. He'd be on a plane back to Brazil crying his eyes out!

We'll let me be the first to raise the bar you negative bunch.
2nd
Jch 24 goals
Nobody from toon
Jch or jones
An old hand to help out JCH. A bit like when we first got Graeme Sharp. Experienced, but not necessarily a goalscorer. Someone he can learn from.

On sky news app tonight. Sky bet have slashed odds on him going to Tottenham from to 12/1 down to 2/1. Newcastle are still favourites to land him. Although further up page it's says toon have lend some foreigner up to replace debuchy.
Spurs then. They're well known for paying over the odds for players!!!

And then it all snowballed. Maybe she thought taking it to court would result in them being called naughty boys, made to do com service, fined heavily, and her getting a nice compo sum. She may have been as shocked as him when he was sent down?
