  1. Yep I clearly know nothing about Football, I bow down to the knowledge of people who believe a striker who's scored 16 goals in 4 half years is going to fire us up the division, he's doing a cracking job of it at the moment :imnotworthy: .

Coco, just one question are you a latics fan? I have noticed that out of every 10 comments you make 9 are negative (usually against ricketts) and 1 is begrudgingly positive. Now you do make some good points but as a latics fan, supposedly I really don't know, I think you need to get behind the players and the team abit more. Maybe then people will listen to your opinion more often and recognise the valid points you make. However, I feel the damage has been done! Anyway, keep posting mate and let's hope latics can turn around our season.

  2. I got that until my PC prompted me to download the media for it. Dunno why it didn't do that straight away, but it's probably something to do with the IT "upgrade" we've had at work.

What was Crossley thinking for the first? He could have easily cleared ball and man out, or he was there early enough to just side foot it away.

Hands up who else remembered thinking, "Oh :censored: , it's Ratboy?" as the ball seemed to take an age to fall for him?

I wait for ever jorvic! And yes leeslover it has prompted me to upgrade 'Microsoft digital rights management components to my computer'. I click on ok and it loads for a few seconds but then just gives up. Oh well I'll keep trying! Meanwhile if anybody finds highlights on youtube could you post them on here or on the latics media file.

    cheers in advance.

  3. Hey chaps everytime I click on any of the video highlights on the virgin site I am not getting the games--instead I end up watching trailers for upcoming films. Is anybody else having this problem? <_< Very frustratiing for me as I am out of the country for the next few months! :disappointed: Help?

  4. Not to get to carried away but COME ON YOU BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!! Not just the kilkenny signing but all the pre-season signing have been great (pending hughes) . Not one to get carried away but it is looking bloody good for this season :D Full credit to tta and shezza for putting together a team to get excited about again B) . Whatever happens, fingers crossed

I assume Kilkenny will be playing tomorrow against sheffield wednesday?

  5. MASSIVE sideways step. Can only be for the money.

Yeah, yeah...who can blame him...blah, blah, blah....! So much for the ambition of a final chance of the big stage by playing in a higher league. Really disappointed if he goes to Donny.

    Whatever! Bring on Allott!?!?!?!?

Playig devil's advocate here! While footballers in league make an excellent salary compared to the normal joe blogs on the street, their career is often short and can be cut even shorter by an unfortunate injury. In a way I understand wellens going for the money, who can blame him really! I think most of us, given the opportunity, would do exactly the same!

What I don't understand is a premiership player leaving 1 club for £40000 a week to play for another club who pays £50000 a week. Wahtever way you look at it they are making for a fortune so they may as well play for ambition.

  6. What an absolute numpty he is!!! OK he is will never play in the premiership and is highly unlikely he will play in the championship but he could do a job in the lower leagues <_< . I ask you who would like to play football as a job and get paid a very good wage for it? He's only20 but 10 years down the line when his 'acting career' falls flat on its face and he is working in some dead end jog he WILL have big regrets! :(

    rant over!!!

  7. Hello boys and girls,

Royton lad here. I started supporting Oldham from 87/88: and was then spoilt rotten the next season (and for many years to follow) by the lads and super Joe Royle. Have to admit the last ten years have been real toil and have seriously tested my allegiance to the mighty blues. To the present day! John Sheridan is a breath of fresh air and Chris Taylor is the first players in years to get me off my seat. There is light at the end of the tunnel!

Most memorable celebration of recent times. The equalising goal against scunny--if you were right in the corner when we scored you will know what I mean.

    Keep the faith!
