  1. Strange you should mention that Neil. What with you sharing your name with one of our ex legends. It'a a shame that you are 6'2" cause no one will mistake you for him in the street. :ass3::chaddy::jester:

P.S. Are you quizzing tomorrow? :first::drinking66:

yeah same with you harry no mistaking as you look aa lot older than our ex goalkeeping legend

    yeah me be quizzing l8r

  2. so the argument is in peoples eyes is a proven keeper who some people believe is making too many mistakes - which for the record i disagree against a unproven keeper who may or may not be ready but who some believe should now be in the side, i have not see enough of him to make an opinion  as to whether or not he is ready or not  but dont think crossley should be replaced at this time

  3. No one has said Whitaker is the best player to put on a Latics' shirt in the past 10 years!

no one on this posting has said wellens is the best player in the last 10 years either my last reply was in context to the comment by PUkka who questioned why wellens played for us if he was that good so i replied the same bout the comments regarding whittakeer if people think he is that good

  4. Typing isn't as complicated as it sometimes first appears. Here, I shall explain......your keyboard has a number of buttons mounted upon it. Looking closely you will see that each button is marked with a symbol, letter, or number. Somewhat surprisingly, this marking often corresponds to what will be displayed within your text should you press it during the typing stage. Therefore given a little practice, and of course a slice of luck, it actually becomes quite simple.

Homework this week is to find out what the button marked 'Caps Lock' does.

thanks for the tip but suprisingly i have beeen using a keyboard nearly every day since i was 16 trying to type too fast is the key nothing else my good man

  5. rofl at some of the comments on here. If Wellens was as good as most people made out why the hell was he playing for us!!?

Wellens was a good player, but the thing is, he'd try the fancy stuff too much, 9/10 it didn't work, but the one time it did it looked good and made him look like Ronaldinho. I'd rather have Whitaker, who gets about the pitch offering support, he's not a bad passer either. But instead of trying to do fancy stuff he does the basics and does it well.

ok then on the same score if peoples opinions bout whittaker are doing the same why is he pleying for us

  6. Jesus Christ ... i put "huh" because i didnt have a blooming clue what that word was, you seemed to have made up a new word in the English language - minfddlrthough

Give your post a quick read before submitted.

yea i know my typing is about as bad as some peoples opinion

  7. Pretty vital now, that we pick up 3 points on Saturday to get back on track with the 2-points-per-game theory. We're currently on 22 points after 12 games, so two behind now. After Saturday, even with a win we'll be a point behind that target, and another defeat would put us 4 points behind that target which already is going to need a 3 or 4 winning streak to put right.

As important as wins come, this is up there. It would set us up nicely coming into two home games.

ill go with a simil\r theory that if you win your home games and draw your away games

so on this theory we should have picked up 18 at home we have picked up 14 and should have picked up 6 points away we have picked up 8

but at home only us and northampton are undefeated at home

  8. List of three numbers.

    Ball back through the legs.

    Everyone runs into eachother.

The guy with the ball either gets knocked to the floor or throws it a long way.

    Thirty second stoppage.

    Same again.

Apart from baseball, easily the most boring sport ever played.

in your own words on a previous post wot a load of tosh - u teling me you rather watch synchronized swimiing

  9. What a load of tosh...Leeds might get a max of 5? They're playing one of the worst sides in the league at ER tonight. Then Walsall at ER, and away at Southend. Except for when they play us, you'd fancy them to pick up 3 points at home. People are underestimating Leeds - they had a crap start but have been flying since then. Fully expect them to pick up at least two wins from their games.

all about opinions mate - so its a load oftosh but no more than what other people think - so i take it you think LEEDS are going up - they are not the best side we hev played this season far from it

  10. i rhink seven points swll be well in order beat scunny drawa t BRixzzle and beat swindonhsave alook at the orther teams fixtures

SCUNny: southend at home millwall at  home us away - thwy are not gonna get 9 points from these 3 fixtures wiwll only get 4 max

LEICESTER: Wallsall hom northampton home and Brighton away possiblity of 9 points thimk they will only get max of 7

MILLWALL: colchester away scunny away hereofod home max 7 points if they can draw at scunny

LEEDS: Orient home WALLSALL at hom SOUTHEND away - again very max 7 points- although thimk they might get max of 5 if they Are luckySOUTHEND other game apart ftom the two above is BRIZZLE away -

  11. No one has any problem with the standing during periods of excitement - it is accepted that it will happen, I bet the people in wheelchairs at the back really don't like it but are resigned to it happening. Same with the little people and children - as a sidenote, my wife is 5 foot 2, when we used to stand up at gigs she used to have a cracking view of people's shoulders and the tops of the heads of the band but any lightshow or visual effects then forget it.Just remembered, we went to see the Pixies at the Apollo a while back as they are one of the wife's favourite bands, we were in to our seat buying stage so we got some good seats, turned at the end of the support band and sat down. As soon as Black Francis walked on stage and strapped the guitar on the people on the front row (about 10 rows in front of us) stood up, in turn the people behind them stood up then the people behind them until it got to us and we stood up. Eventually there was a block of about 10 seats wide from the front to the back of people stood up. Every other seat had people sat in them - the only reason we were stood is because of the people on the front row.The issue people have is the standing for no reason and getting in the way of other people's view which is pretty inconsiderate.
don think th comparison is on the sam level as a t agig you can still here ths musid i am 6ft i just dont see th neciissity forr it, you wouldnt stand up up at thr cinema for instance -  when  pay to sit so why at football - just because  you prefer to stand, and if u did and some steward tole u to sit it would not be as much as a problem
  12. Huh?

maybe im being thick i Tthought the MAIN job of amidfielderwas ro create goals for the strikers, yes they do score but we should not be juding them on how many goals they do score , please correct me ii am wrong

  13. went last year and will be off there agin on sunday wiv harry dowds green shirt alangroves perm ands navadont support either of these two teams although would prefer the chargers as they in the afc and my team the bears in the nFC so just in cases it comes down to plaay off places would always want the afC to win in this situation
