Remember going to South Shields and standing on the terracing (railway sleepers). Floodlights were that poor that some South Shields' fans ran on the pitch thinking they had scored! If only, would have saved the embarrassment of that replay!

Byfield did OK last night and with matches under his belt feel he would be a good signing. DP was yelling at COG all the time to "work harder". Think that if he doesn't then he will be on his way.

Hazell was off the pace on Saturday, thought at times he was in a daze. Gregan, in my opinion, MOM.

Hit the nail on the head. Players come and go but none are bigger than the club. All managers change things round and sometimes not to our liking but at the end of the day we love our club and will continue to support no matter what.

One of the questions asked to Lee Hughes at last week's A Question of Latics was where did he prefer the ball to be played. His answer was in front of me and not coming at me at silly heights - something which has happened a lot this season. He was also asked who he liked to partner him up front and he said Lewi gave the best options.
