Correct but yet again the so called experts are not very knowledgeable-John Aldridge used to do it!
Aldo shuffled or shimmied - but wouldn’t stop. The lad tonight stopped. He mucked it up, basically.

Lots of people I know, who watch a lot more League of Ireland football than me, tell me we've a very very good player in McEleney... so roll on Saturday...

Courtney Duffus heading to Waterford apparently - not sure if permanent or loan.

2 down 5 to go.....
I'm really looking forward to a season where the first few months of the year don't have one of these countdowns... I'm craving mid-table mediocrity.
This season's countdown seems more achievable though - I hope Typical Latics Law doesn't dictate that it's the one we make a mess of.

I fear this is going to become a 160+ page thread.

Slightly out of focus pic gone to your email.

I have that badge (no silhouette though) but can’t manage to upload the pic.

Apparently I’m not... it’s an iPhone pic but I’m told it is too big.
Send me an email address and I’ll email it to you.
It’s not the clearest pic - the badge is in Dublin and I’m currently in Galway - but I’ll take a clearer one when I’m back in Dublin.

I have a pic of one - let’s see if I’m tech savvy enough to upload it...

RW has got his own man in first..Doyle.
From what I’ve heard BP, Abdallah played a major role in the signing process for Eoin Doyle.
So whether that means RW said he wanted him so AL went and got him, or otherwise, it’s proof for me that AL wants to get us good quality players not just bussing in loads of sub standard lads.

Some of you lot were saying he was our best manager since Joe Royle a few months ago. His hands are tied in a fashion, and he is about to get another handful of players he doesn't want, but his selection and tactics are severely costing us and, if he stays, I reckon we will go down...
Amazing how opinions can change in a matter of weeks.
My guess is that we’re going to stick with Wellens. So I hope he changes things around and sorts it fast.

Moimbe & Doyle today would be pretty good on paper.
I hope they'll be good on sandy puddles with a few blades of grass too.

After the last few seasons I was really looking forward to some dull mid table months leading up to the summer... ah well!

I love that video.

Funny how once the site was down I realised how much I check it during the day - which is a lot...
I'll throw a few quid owtb's way on my next pay cheque if that helps - it's clearly worth it.

His attitude was unquestionable...and he took great corners!
There's a great clip of him on youtube getting hit by an incredibly late Roy Keane "tackle"... gets thrown up in the air, but dusts himself off, throws Keane a filthy look, then plays on... They don't make 'em like that any more.
The commentator then says Keano was lucky not to get YELLOW carded...

I suppose my thinking would be that players don’t hang around at clubs for as long as they used to. Chances are if they’re getting boos they’ll be on their way in a matter of months anyway - so the bond between players and those who pay to see them isn’t as strong as it used to be - be it in good times or bad.
-
I wonder how much players care if they’re booed these days. Not as much as they used to, I’d wager.
-
Now’s the time I start to get a tad concerned. We need a couple of wins fast. Then I can relax again.

Darren has apparently done well at the level he's at now. Fair play to him - maybe that's the level he should have started out on.
However there's nothing for him to gain in harking back to his time with Latics. And digging it up again shows a bit of naivety.
If he's to rise up the ranks he'll have a lot to learn.
Good luck to him - but maybe giving up Twitter would be a good step. Followed by ditching the 'motivational' phrases.
