the past two games have just papered over the cracks,the tactics are crap sitting back so far back is not our style never has and never will be,if we insist on playing that style it will be a long hard season and not very good to watch

How does beating bottom of the league who only had 10 men change anything?! Papering over the cracks I think! It isn't good enough and if you are happy with that we are going to end up in the bottom four.

Are the people who are criticising the club for pissing fans off for moving them for a few games from the RRE (although it's clear when you buy an ST in there that that will happen) the same people advocating turfing out a stand full (ish) of people (Chaddy) so we can have 'the nicest stand'?

a few games,the way its going we will be moving more and more up to the point where it will be one or two games where we are in the rre and it is the better of the two stands,the chaddy lost its atmosphere when the seats were put in,so its run its coarse,

Certain matches (sheff utd,Preston) yes I agree,but feckin bury,800 tops,trannies1500 tops,it is taking the piss,the chaddyend is a :censored: tip(no ale,big effin post in yourway)20 years ago it was the place to be,for now while we are still in this :censored: league the away fans should be put in the Chaddy and give Oldham fans a decent view of the pitch with half decent facilities,the only team to fill the rre is sheff utd,any other team in our league would fit nicely in the corner of the Chaddy

he shouldnt have started last night played to deep the only passes he completed last night were sideways or backwards his forward passes went staight to carlisle players or into nomans land,it was amistake to change the team,if it was in dicovs mind to do it he should have waited to see how the team were playing for at least 45 mins

Also, he was instrumental in our only win of the season and he has proved to be a valuable addition to the squad with solid performances, consistently throughout the early section of the season so he has made a difference so why don't you "support and back him to the hilt"?

I'm not saying Montano is the next Ronaldo but you can't ever use the fact that a club has let a player go as an indicator of how good a footballer they are... Players move all the time, it's called the Transfer market. Leeds let a certain Andy Ritchie go... He turned out alright

but andy ritchie was a proven player and goalscorer before he came to bp

So your reasons for not rating him are:

1. Because you've seen better wingers for Latics

it is dont keep burying your head in the sand,dont get me wrong if theres a young kid that comes on to the pitch and looks as though he can make a difference i will support and back him to the hilt but if i see he hasnt got it i will say so!

I accept that you have an opinion and I respect that but your comments about Montano are hollow. How you can criticise him is unbelievable to me. He has 1 bad half and then he's a waste of money, has no skill and "should never wear the shirt again". He's been one of the better players, with true creativity, skill and pace. He's young and highly regarded by West Ham fans and I would go as far as to say he was a bit of coup for us to get.

I come on this forum to hear the opinions of fellow fans, whether they mirror mine or oppose mine but for each comment made I expect some sort of logic or genuine argument. You say he has no skill. You must be dellusional. He had a bad match today but he still skinned their left back several times in the first half. Not remember that flick turn that he did and then that cross that he produced. That shot he had in the first half, causing the keeper to tip it over.
