  1. Fundamentally, it is acceptable to lose to Stevenage, or anyone else for that matter. When you go along to the game you accept the possibility that your team might not win. People who go to the game thinking their team have a God-given right to victory disgust me, but they're usually Man U fans.

do not put tics fans in the same vain as that red :censored:e down the road and if people that think their team is going to win at home disgust you then you are probably not right to support any team full stop
  2. Kuqi fell and the ball bobbled as he was passing it to M'Changama so the boo's as usual by the idiots who follow us were totally unjustified. I know he did very little but don't bloody boo our own players ffs!

dont boo our players ?that game today was one of the worst 90 mins i have seen for years wake up you d***kh**d its piss poor what is on that pitch at the moment and of you think different i would consider seeing a shrink !
  3. Ok. Marsh-Brown has a habit of using a social network site in the early hours of the morning.

Somebody suggested this proves he's not out partying or similar.

Experts in the wonders of modern technology suggest such an assumption is a bit of a leap of faith.

Some may think his not being tucked up in bed with cocoa at 10pm limits his ability to kick a ball at 3pm.

i'm not saying that it limits his ability or who ever uses the same network all i'm saying is why did the thread go from how they play on the pitch to what they do after the match?ie twitter etc

  4. our lack of goal threat is a real worry. 1 nil yet again today and bar one break we never looked like scoring. we need some luck and soon!

its not luck we need its a good goal scorer we need, and as far as i can see the way we are playing we wont win another game this season and thats not me being a gloom and doom merchant its me being a realist, what i see on the pitch is a team stuggling to to score or defend, but with the finances we have theres not a lot of avenues to go down

  5. going back to the carlisle game, the concept of £2 entry fee was a great idea backed by nice people who gave money that the club would have lost if they hadnt supported the club.also as many st holders did paid on the day and many people gave a tenner and didnt pick up the change, but obviously mr barry owen is not amongst the afore mentioned people,i was told today that as he was going into the ground he was asked if he was going to pay and his reply was "why because i am a director" so who cares ?

  6.

How about a couple of hundred replies endorsing this.

i cannot thank sc enough for this season up to yet, after tonights game watching the people we had on the bench to come on and replace tonks, white, morias just goes to show that the board needs and deserves the praise of every latics fan.thank you very much for giving me the same feeling i got in our glory days of big joe and jimmy frizzell

  7. I've said for the last 18 months or so we should put away fans in the chaddy. Yes i know it goes against tradition but us latics fans need to stop living in the past with evreything!

The rre is much be4tter in terms of facilities, accoustics and view and if you look at numbers today hudds brought what is probably going to be the biggest following of the season which was 3600ish. How much does the chaddy hold? 3600? sounds perfect to me and it would save messing st holders about by keep moving them around!

totally agree with you thats what has stopped a lot of latics fans going to matches because of the messing about with season ticket holders having to relocate.having the chaddy just for away fans makes absolute sense
