  1.

Shame 90% of them were hurling abuse for most of the game. Or was that just all the tools round me? I do have a habit of attracting the muppets.

i doubt they are tools or muppets probably just pissed off watching inept perfomances of people that are supposed to be football players ?

  2. Selling our best striker for 20k and replacing him with an unproven youngster does not constitute good business.

how do know it was 20k and as far as replacing him with an unproven youngster thats bull:censored:,the youngster has been scoring goals for the res and the academy since he has been at the club,if everybody took your stance on the youth then people like rooney etc would never had got the chance to show the world what they could do :ranting:

  3. Awful overhyped washout of a cup. Terrible what passes for football these days.

Yay! Got a whole season of 3rd division nonsense to look forward to in less than a month.

Although, after watching this garbage for the last month, perhaps people's expectations of what to expect from the lads at BP might be a bit lower than in the last few years and almost at a realistic level?

Would be good to say that football was the winner at a world cup but I don't think you can do so in this case, there has only been one winner and that is Fifa's bank account.

the world cup competition itself was a good one the only overhyped washout pieces of :censored: were our "in there own minds i'm better than anybody else " people ie= fat boy rooney,i love myself terry ,cashly cole ,and all the other :censored: who get vast amounts of money for being average !spain deserved their win for playing with passion, something lacking in our players :ranting:

  4. You're allowed to shoulder charge.

But as soon as a shoulder charge changes and the elbow or forearm extends in to an opponent, it's a foul.

i have been to lots of games where its been shoulder to shoulder and the referee hes given a free kick ,in my opinion the referee has taken it upon himself to change the law ,which is wrong ,they should stick to the rules.

  5. what i know off shoulder charge is allowed no FA news on it begin changed

just what i thought, but why does every referee give a free kick when somebody does it,that to me is a case of the rules being ignored by the officiales who run the game in which case the officiales should be changed :ranting:

  6. i think we do have the last say...or some do,otherwise we wouldnt have got through so many managers in the last 6 years....fan powers done for most of them...

maybe the club should take into consideration what fans think...at the end of the day tickets sales rose once penney had gone...if they want another increase they need to appoint the right man...otherwise people will feel hard done to and dare i say it...emotionally blackmailed into buying yet again

i personally think that the club should consider the fans thoughts same as you,and i also think that they should have, either monthly or half season meetings with the fans represenatives to discuss plans for the future of the club .

  7. yep Dowie wasnt very good when he was given the chance !!

Gannon would turn the club inside out, upset all the staff, fans, players and owners within his first 3 months in charge.... thats his way !

so who is the peoples choice ? because no matter who is named they are not right for the club ! jesus we cant have he is otherwise involved in managing the world ,same goes for mourinho he's going to madrid ,so we are left with the dregs of the football world.so lets be serious no matter who we end up with 50% of the fans are not going to be happy .at the end of the day we as fans no matter what people think do not have the last say .

  8. That just makes you stupid.

Did we play exactly the same football under Dowie than we did under Wadsworth?

Or doesn't your braincell let you remember that long ago?

my braincell tells me at that time i was living and working in spain , but i had my friends get in touch with me about the games and the personalities of both wadsworth and dowie, and going off what i was told about those two and comparing them to penney and gray, the latter are like two peas in a pod,and by the way do not ever call me stupid again.

  9. Ah. Maybe RoyleArmy really is in the inner circle then.

I love all this bull about "if Gray gets the job". Whatever happened to all those promises of giving a new manager a clean slate? Same old story with some so called fans - they've made their decision before it's even announced, never mind before their first game.

Any wonder nobody decent wants it?

"give the new manager a clean slate" gray was mr bad penneys second in command so he wouldnt be new and we know what sort of crap football we would be watching so the decision of "if gray gets the job" is justified

  10. Season ticket sales will be well down so we will have to persuade the punters on a match by match basis that we are worth watching and we desperately need a good start!

If the team performs better then the crowds and atmosphere will improve......but it's all about what happens on the pitch!!

If we start as we did this season I dread to think what the crowds will be like!

its up to tta and mr bad penney to start to think about the fans first and foremost because they are the ones that "no matter what they think or like to think the fans hold the cards "if they dont go then the club folds simple. football is like anyother business if the product is crap then people dont buy , so you have to make that product succesfull no matter what the cost is because when that product is one of the best then you reap the rewards

  11. +1

Dave Penney. The single reason why i'll be picking and choosing my games next season, regardless of manager. At twenty quid a time too, it'll be few and far between when i'm actually at BP next season. The damage has been done. TTA should of acted weeks/months ago.

havnt voted because its immateriel tta should change the name to the three pillocks how could anybody that is supposedbto be businessmen let the :censored: that has come out of bp and not do anything about it needs looking at brainwise .and i will not be renewing my st if that boring ,braindead ,tactically inept ,piece of :censored: called mr bad penney is in charge :ranting:

  12. This really caught my attention.

Considering the absolute rebuild job (which to be fair was always going to be difficult) he bought in virtually a whole side.

I just hope that we scrpate staying up, and go a la Roughyeds and get a few kids playing in the team.

To be fair to Penney, he has blooded a few kids this season,

in response to to you and underdog i honestely think that you watch a different game than anybody knows anything about football , because the only tning that mr bad penney will bring oafc is relegation he is a master at crap tactics, cannot motivate players ,and the personel side of getting to know the fans is nil ! so that all makes a man who is totally crap for this club . but i may be wrong ,which i doght. :ranting:

  13. I agree to an extent with the OP.

Recently, opinions4u said something along the lines of 'the club has cancer - the tumour is on the terraces'....sadly, it's pretty spot on. I think the same can be applied to the town and borough as well. It's the residents of this town who do the most damage with their constant, cynical, naive, negative sniping.

have you ever thought that the negative ,cynical ,naive ,constant piss taking way that the club treats the fans may have a little part to play in the whole senario :ranting:

  14. Can't speak for the Chaddy as I sit in the RRE these days, but there were certainly the old standards rolled out in there as there are every game. I don't think anyone goes into the game singing "GET OUT OF OUR CLUB" straight from kick off. It's as a direct result of sub standard efforts throughout the match - and throughout most of the season.

We're now at the business end of the campaign and we're in SERIOUS danger of the drop. This for me is not acceptable. It doesn't even bear thinking about. I don't want the club I love to be plying it's trade in the basement of "professional" football. Any neither do many others. We've tried the carrot, it hasn't worked. There wasn't any booing/calling for DP's head in the first half of the season - only support. Now it's time for the stick. It's one of the few impacts we as fans can make.

As far as I can see, there are thousands of fans who seem to be perfectly content to see our demise without so much as a "hang about, WTF is going on?". And so we have the usual scenario of row upon row of "supporters" sitting in silence. These very same supporters who accuse us - who dare to question the tactics and performances of the team/management - of destroying our team's chances by being vocal about the fact we don't like it, and want it to change.

I think the question/accusation should turned right around. All those who don't kick up a fuss at below average results and efforts should be shamed as the guilty ones. Not those who stand up and be counted. If it means that much to you all, and from the criticism on here of the boos, it obviously does, then do something about it. Don't sit and do nothing, then complain that nothing changes.

Like I've already said on other threads, shake yourselves out of your malaise and actually do the "getting behind the team" like so many preach, but never actually do at the game.

    nice post man agree 100%
