  1. Today was it we was good or Port Vale :censored:? We played better than usual and had a few chances but they was one of the worst teams I've seen at BP and we still couldn't beat them.

Another game with no goals scored, he has to go. By the time we next play at BP it'll be around 3 months since our last home league goal.

  2.

I did mean points wise. I really thought we were going down having had Holden, Kelly and at that point Dunn. And when Shez was appointed I (wrongly) was not very inspired.

It seems closer in the league this year, but as I said in another post we won't be able to carry on much longer at this rate before we are dead and buried, whereas I thought we were last year.

Something has to change. The only saving grace for Robbo is the fact he inherited 5 players and sign 22.

I haven't seen anything that inspires me to keep Robbo, just a tough start.

Saving grace? How many of them would you deem to be a success...

  3. The first 4 you can look at either way. So to say that we need a miracle is silly, and that's the point I was answering.

I don't know where you got your "information" from for E but do rather suspect that you are purely making it up rather than (a) knowing what all his targets were and whether he got them or not ( B) having real facts about him not being involved in our new signings for January.

    I still need an answer to F ! :-)

Can you? I'd say its shocking that a team hasn't won in 3 months yet is still above you with only half a season gone. I can't see how you can look at not scoring in 13/14 league games out 22 any other way than failure. Even Penney and Dunn gave us more goals. Robinson has somehow got us playing even :censored:ter than they did.

For E took my information from his interviews.

I got my information from Robinsons interviews.

  4. A. We are one win away from being ahead of Bury and out of the relegation zone.

    B. We have a game in hand on all the others.

    C. Bury have one point in 10 games, and that's against the team that we are up against next.

    D. We beat Scunthorpe 2-0, there are very small margins in this division.

    E. The manager was given a massive handicap with the situation at the start of the season and the new restricted loan system, we haven't really seen what he can do yet.

    F. What have Boney M got to do with this anyway?

    A) Bury haven't won a league game since 24th September and yet we are still below them.

B ) Game in hand counts for nothing unless you win it and that isn't likely for us.

    C) They are 8th and unbeaten in their previous 6.

    D) Yes we beat Scunthorpe 2-0 but have failed to score in 13/14 of our 22 games so far.

    E) On the flipside he has been able to bring in the players he wants (strikers all his first choice) yet has failed to get any of them bar two playing well regularly and they are two he will have little to do with.

  5. A lot of that is just down to circumstances though isn't it?

I do think he's a dud and not right for us but I couldn't say he appears out of his depth.

It costs nothing to send out a team with a positive mindset to go and attack. The players signed were his choices. You could argue that he had to go with what was left but the likes of Mckay, Erwin and Ladapo were his first choices and he has said as much.

The only two playing well consistently are Ripley and Clarke. He'll have barely anything to do with Ripley in training and he won't have much, if anything to teach Clarke. The rest have largely regressed since the start of the season and may have a decent game every now and then.

  6. There's nothing to suggest he is badly out of his depth or has lost the dressing room, progression in the cup will be seen as crucial though with the rewards on offer.

Apart from having us bottom of the league after 22 games having only scored in 8 of them (and one of them games it was an OG). Thats before getting started on him producing some of the :censored:test and most boring football many have witnessed at BP. Then you could start on his lack of foresight during games (players on bookings looking like being sent off - see Green and Fane x2, leaving players on when clearly knackered etc).

He might be a nice person and hard working but he's out of his depth as a manager at the minute.

  7. Sounds like a great initiative to be fair.... and Dale's record at finding, developing and then selling on for big profit, young or disgarded pro's is something you have to admire.

I wonder how TP views this approach in comparison to our youth set up, notwithstanding we've had our fair share of successes in recent seasons: Tarky, Coleman - who played in the championship today - and Renshaw. Sadly, who have all made seemingly less profit for the club than Dale's players have for theirs.

Nonaenever - if you're reading this - there is a question in here somewhere for your meeting with the Chairman.

I know someone who used to play for ours & then Dales U16's about 4/5 years ago. He said that our setup at that level was shocking compared to Rochdales...

  8. Because i am pretty certain that he will say that i cannot see the full accounts for OEC Ltd. Ask yourself this-why are the very very basic accounts not yet at Companies House as required by statute?

Why do you want to see Brassbanks and OEC's books? Latics books will show the financial deals that have been in place, past and present.

Ask myself why they aren't? Why don't you ask Corney why they are yet to be filed? He'd be able to give a better answer than pure guesswork on here.

  9. I have never said that i was unwilling to go, but was suspended from owtb for taking issue with a poster who was trying to justify not paying Rochdale. I will re-consider once the accounts are submitted to Companies House for both OEC and Brassbank Ltd. I will not hold my breath.

Why don't you attend and ask Corney to see the accounts?

After all, his answer will be on camera.

  10. Bet Notts County didn't think they'd be where they are under Sheridan either. But they are

Probably not. But I'd rather have Shez in charge than Robinson. We still could be bottom but we'd have seen a few more goals especially in home games than this boring :censored: Robinson offers up.

  11. I'd let them all leave.

I'd rather Edmundson in the squad than Burgess and it sounds like Gerrard is due to sign once the embargo is lifted.

I would keep Dunne but on the basis on that Reckord is contracted until end of the season and we need a new left back unfortunately he has to go to create space for one as I can't see anyone wanting Reckord.

Croft - 10/20 minute impact player at best. Seems unable to affect a game positively from the start. His weight is likely to balloon soon as he gets a contract longer than 6 months.

Jahraldo-Martin - Barely seen him play, seems to have some pace but if he can't get in the squad ahead of everyone else then no point him being here.

Klok - Plenty of energy but appeared to be a yard or two off the pace constantly. Seems to have been injured for most of his time here.

Ladapo - Can't control a ball. Can't jump/head a ball. Most of the time looks like he can't be arsed.

CB, LB, CM, LW and ST all needed as a minimum (New manager also needed!). If we could get players in all those positions I'd then look to try and get another winger in aswell if possible.

CB appears to be Gerrard. LW I'd try to sign Martis on loan. Holloway would be a decent choice for ST if available. No idea on who could come in at LB and CM in middle of the season.

  12.

We have a mid table L2 budget at the moment. Relegation will mean less season tickets sold and reduce the budget further, Next season we will have a bottom half L2 budget, and players recruited will be the same as the lot we have now, some being worse. Crowds will fall further, until we have a bottom six budget and we struggle every year to stay in the league. Eventually the inevitable happens (like this season) and we fall into non league football with a mid table budget. And so it goes on. No-one in their right mind would buy the club without the land and income from the OEC, and the cost of that just isn't worth investing in.

Do we? Your knowledge of L1 and L2 budgets is impressive.

Based on what our trust rep has said we have a budget of above £1.3m.
