Iv been supporting Oldham Athletic ever since I can remember! I come from Rochdale so you can imagine the stick iv always had. The only thing that ever mattered to me was that we achieved what we are capable of as a small town football club. Unlike all the big clubs like Manchester Utd/City, Liverpool, Leeds etc we come with a smaller crowd hence being a smaller town. We dont expect to get crowds like they get until we warrant ourselves and earn the right to have them by winning things in the long term. We as Oldham Athletic take things that come our way and make them better. We have been in this situation before and came out on top and we can certainly do it again! All we need is these stupid glory supporters watching Utd and City from there couch and get shouting for there local team especially in a much needed time! Yes they might not want to come to a 'old' Boundary Park but that is the home of Oldham Athletic and until the funds are available for the upkeep it's tough :censored:. So let's get everyone we know to Boundary Park come rain or shine and show that stupid council and them idiotic glory supports that we are Oldham Athletic and we are here forever! Let's get promotion and remind the football league that not only is there Blackpool that's small and can achieve success there's Oldham Athletic and there out to better every other team in this league of British football!!! If they loan him they have there player and then they will just buy him at the end of the season if they still want him!! We need to keep hold of him for promotion!!not many wingers in this league like him!

If Chris Taylor isn't bought by the end of the transfer window does this mean it's the end of it all til at least the summer or could Scunthorpe loan him after the transfer windows closed?

iv never seen a team play as bad as them first half, until we came out 2nd half!! they really were poor! had to be to be 3-0 down at half time,and should of been more! that shoud of been a game at half time were we should of been out to increase our goal difference, not throw it away

Yeh I know it was missed, but how could we even let it become 3-2 at that stage? They were the worst side we have played and are likely to play all season!!! Theres no excuses there, to me the reason was that they thought they had won at half time and they let there guard down. Brill has done OK of late and I wouldnt say it was all his fault, id say all 4 defenders are mainly to blame

Why did the players come out after half time and assume the game was won? That was the start of there downfall. I hope Paul Dickov reminds them thats theres 2 halves!! Personally I would have them in training at 7am in the freezing cold running round doing laps as punishment. Also, Winchester was nackered he should of been subbed, no excuse . It should of been noticed!! Whats everyone elses views of the 2nd half?

why send a player out on loan....to gain 1st team experience.to find form in which he did.yeh maybe he is out of contract at the end of the season so we accepted the fee but when ur in the relegation zone and need goals because we have such a poor record of scoring these types of players should be kept at all costs.it will cost Oldham Athletic alot more money if we go down than it would if O'Grady had stayed and banged them in for us,saved us from relegation and then walked at the end of the season. i agree he wasnt the best in League 1 and never really got a propper chance for us but when u prefer other players you send him out on loan u send him for 1 purpose.to find form in which he did.you dont send them out on loan and then sell him..... Dave Penney is clueless as a manager.he let all our best players go and brought in players tht arent as good so as far as i can see we need to get rid of him quickly before its too late and start a fresh and see if a new management team can pull us out of the :censored: he has put us in.

i wouldnt want to share with any other club. Boundary Park is where Oldham Athletic belongs!i could understand if Oldham built a new ground elsewere in Oldham but to get rid of Boundary Park and groundshare with another club seems wrong to me.there is benefits of groundsharing but I dont think it should happen.

i think we should definately sign him. he is a brilliant goalscorer which he proved last season and the team would benefit from him.I know someone who knows him and says he is a nice guy, put all the past behind us and move forward. i dont know why Joe Royle kicked him out and to be honest i think he ruined the season for us by doing that!

never mind its alright these people probably know everything about Oldham Athletic but never met a girl in there lives.

i dont know anywere tht sells the chron in rochdale thts close to were i live. Rochdale is a 3rd world town.its :censored: at the best of times. I have heard of the players signin as i check the internet everyday but i hadnt heard about the possible signings!but thanks for your comments anyway, i think we will do well next season, hopefully penney is the right manager for us. so does anyone know of anything about paul scholes joining us sometime, i heard he was going to come but not sure when. also iv heard tht Neil Eardley is on his way out with talks of him going to huddersfield and also trotman coming back on a season long loan!!

yeh and allott has got tranmere i think......i was wondering whats everyones thoughts of the new players and the rumours? i dont really hear much as i live in rochdale and cant get a chron.

i have heard that we have will haining training with us this week and may come back. Ian Moore may come!has anybody heard anything?
