I reckon Lundstram will come in for this one...

We've reached well every time we've put in a performance like Aldershot. I expect us to be much better on Saturday...

They signed conlon and the like?
Ah yeah. Good point. Reckon Conlon will come good. He wants the ball, needs runners...

I think whoever has led the recruitment strategy goes. If that’s Darren Royle then fine.
I think they already have, haven't they? Unsworth and Thompson...?

Moore- you will remember, got sacked because our fans wanted entertainment over winning (Corney went on record saying it massive mistake sacking Moore after ‘listening to the fans’.
Not sure you can call sacking Moore a mistake. We made the playoffs the following season whilst playing good football...

Right, I'm gonna say it. I find these podcasts much more interesting after we've been beaten...

Disgraceful. They should be fined if game off.
Can clubs be fined for having an unplayable pitch...?

Watched the match back, how bad was Hogan, shameful for the second goal and gave up at times. Looks like he was sulking to me.
Honest, the amount of times he's on the floor arguing with officials drives me insane...

We always react well to a particularly poor performance. We haven't lost two league games in a row all season. I expect us to win...

Tbf if we had took that many yesterday to somewhere like Colchester 10 years ago we would have been saying it was decent turnout.
Weird atmosphere yesterday by our lot. Fans weren't up for it at all. I like the old school Aldershot ground though. The covered away end reminded me of Ninian Park
Weirdly, you've still not muted me...

I’m sorry but that’s just bollocks. That was a 460 mile round trip and we’ve got another away game at Halifax on Tuesday. The majority of away games are in and around London and the South of England.
Finances are tight and this is the National League after all.
I’ll also bet that every one of those supporters wished that they hadn’t bothered!!
He's probably gone overboard a bit, but I don't think he's far off. It wasn't a good turnout. For some reason, the Athleticos don't appear to travel anywhere south of Solihull. We have a few hundred fans already based down south so would have expected us to take over 500 yesterday.
Aldershot fans were really loud, by the way. Was very surprised at them...

So you think we've got the wrong manager, in your opinion.
Yet, in your opinion, you want the man you think is the wrong manager to stay in place?
Right. You can see why people might struggle with the logic of that one?
You're really dragging this board down at the moment. You seem intent on causing a row with everyone. Chill out...

Lundstram will definitely be chucked back in...

It was bad, very bad. I said on the first reply to this thread that we're due an away defeat and it duly arrived.
Thought the reaction from some fans at the end of the game was a bit much. They deserved booing off, no doubt, but the angry vitriol directed at the players was a bit OTT for me.
We always react well to a horror show and haven't lost two in a row all season. It'll be better on Tuesday...

I think they probably could….I don’t think they’ll be too pleased if ticketless fans end up milling around outside the ground or infiltrating the home ends!
That's why they asked them to put more tickets on sale, but they can't force them to...

I know. The timing couldn't have been better to ramp up the tension.
Although we have sold out (I think) both times we have been to Alty with no history of trouble either.
Having said that I am surprised we haven't given Chesterfield more.
There was trouble in the cup game. I can't remember if an Oldham fan threw a smokebomb in to their end or other way around...

I’m not disputing what you say but that’s just weird!
The police tend to have the final say in these situations.
It is they who make the decision to move the KO time, it is they who make the decision for the games to be ‘all ticket’.
If the ‘police’ had requested that we give them more tickets we would have to comply, surely?
Do we heck. Police can't make Oldham sell them if they're saying they're not opening the bottom section of the Chaddy...

'the police requested more tickets'?
I heard that the numbers were reduced due to the fact that Chesterfield fans have been talking about pitch invasions and the like - I would imagine that GMP will have advised the club against giving more tickets to the away club.
Either way, you will have enough fans in the ground to make a decent noise.
The Police one million percent requested more tickets. They think Chesterfield fans will travel anyway so don't want them wandering around Oldham...

We lost a regular JK Latics contributor a few months ago, BLUMAX.
Still in regular contact with the likes of LatikNik, Wilson etc. Some lapsed fans but all Latics at heart...

I think we will be pushing the £400 mark if we go up. £370 if we are in the same league.
the club have been able to offer finance in the club shop so hopefully have something lined up.
They'll be on sale before we know what division we are in, won't they...?
