The new ground development pics are on the OS and is it just me or could the remaining concrete steps where the lookers lower used to be become a good old fashioned standing area? Let's think about it.. all we'd need are a few railings across the length of the pitch for safety/people to lean on, and some temporary toilets and dadaaa we have a good old fashioned standing area for the season! I'd certainly check it out.

Doesn't really surprise me as Dale was where he played the majority of his cut-back career. Does it surprise anyone else that Ernie only made just over 40 appearances for the 'tics? It feels like he was with us for agood few seasons! Just proves what a breath of fresh air he was to the world of football. -
Totally agree. Was well out of order and was almost fitting for him to score such a well taken goal infront of the Chaddy to shut the shameful chanters up.

I mainly post on oafc.co.uk but have been checking the updates on here for the past week or so. Terrible terrible news. I wouldn't wish death on anybody but it truly frustrates me when scum like Barton are alive and well while at the same time a true fans' favourite and loveable character passes away under such tragic circumstances. RIP Ernie x

Just wondering if anybody has a copy of the 80's style latics crest with the owl facing to the side. I've noticed it on a couple of people's signatures.. just wondering if any kind latics fan could send me a copy as im thinking of having it plastered on my arm.. for life! If the boys get promoted this is my side of the deal.
