  1. I keep thinking this guy will do a U-TURN and take over at oldham but in the mean time he has said no to oldham but we dont no why he said no for the real reason.I hope someone kindly will let us know why he said no i personally like to meet this guy can someone at the club please make a meeting plan with him and i am thinking off getting letters from oafc fan asking him to save oafc please.

I know this guy has got money big time and he is good friends with Uncel Dickov   .

I've heard many a young man is good friends with Uncel Dickov.

  2. How much of a fan would you consider yourself?

Not as big as I used to

Do you think there are certain things a Latics fan should never do?

    Lots of things probably

How do you react after a defeat?

Depends if we doing well. If we are doing :censored: I am not that bothered.

Whats the most important thing about the matchday experience the result or the day in general?

Experience in general to be honest, of course its all the sweeter with a win!

If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals?

    Yes

Do you have a Latics tattoo?

    No it would be hideous.

  3. I'm not questioning the Player Share scheme, I believe it's a much better prospect than it's previous incarnation. What I am questioning is how the transfer fees made on the three departures can simply be dismissed as being swallowed up by running costs when it has already been highly publicised that the budget for this year is already in place.

Maybe that money gets swallowed up for this season now and allows them to keep the club running for an extra season without investment?

I don't know the ins and outs of our finances but just because they budgeted for this season doesn't mean the club isn't still running at a huge loss. It probably means whoever is bank rolling us at present now doesn't have to put as much money into the club this season.

  4. Maybe you're right, i'm no football manager so i've gotta agree that maybe there's something that they've all seen in him that makes him a left winger. But for the last 18 months (ish) he's just not produced the goods enough on the left, maybe a change back to the right is what he needs.

Cant argue with that he certainly hasnt been performing like he has in the past. Maybe a change would refresh his game. I do think Taylor is a good example of why we cash in on the likes of Eaves early! I cant see us getting any money for him at the moment.

  5. If Taylor's going to play it has to be on the right.

He only ever moved to the left to fill a gap but it now seems to be forgotton that he's naturally a wide right player. He cuts inside because whilst playing on the left has improved his left foot he still much prefers to use his right.

If he was moved back out to the right he would spend much more time on the wing because he'd be more confident in beating the man and whipping in a right footed cross. He'd also still have the option to worry defences by cutting in as he has a better left foot than your average league one right winger.

As for his perceived attitude problems the only way to sort them out is to make absolutely sure he only plays on merit and treat him no differently to every other member of the squad. If he still doesn't work hard enough & fit into this new team come January then maybe the time really will have come to cash in on him before we're stuck with a highly paid player that we don't need or even want.

Personally I think his best games for us have been on the left and if I can recall correctly his most productive season for us in terms of goals and assists was from the left of midfield?

I think the fact that JS, DP and now PD have all played him on the left shows he is a left winger!

I think they play him here because on form he can go outside the man and cross or cut inside and cross and shoot and he can also be good at making the late run into the box and getting on the end of crosses from the right. I just dont think it is happening at the moment which by the sounds of it is down to attitude if this thread is to be believed.

  6. i agree he will not be able to leave until january...but i cant for the life of me think why he would continue to get game time when he doesnt epitamise everything pd has said and asked for from his players...maybe sending him out on loan would be a better option, give him some proper game time elswhere so as to not disrupt or games and training....then he either comes back something like we are used to seeing,or he goes fullstop.

allessandra is by far the better option when fit...if not give smalley a go at it...he has bags of pace, just needs to learn how to look up and pass/cross it in..

I wrote LA off from the last 2 seasons as he didnt look interested or capable but he has proved me wrong! I will hold my hand up now he has proved me wrong and at the moment I would much rather he was on the left than CT.

Ive always thought Smalley looks like he has the most potential of the 3 of them, if he can add consistency to his game. Some weeks he is immense, others he is non existent.

  7. Not much of a goal threat but retains possession well I feel when he is on the pitch by on the whole keeping things simple.

I worry that the crowd may get on his back though if he doesn't score soon or has an off game so should Dickov be careful with how much he plays him?

  8. hard to choose. I picked Furman, due to his vast improvement over last years performances not just because of the goal. I thought he used the ball well and put himself about in the middle.

Hazell was outstanding also but he won it last week. Tounkara showed touches of quality for his goal and to set one up.
