I was texting a mate who was sat in the away end during the match and he's told me quite a few times he enjoys coming up to Boundary Park when we play the Dons. He wasn't too happy with me though cos he rung me up at half time hoping to have an intelligent discussion about the match but me and the guy I was with decided to keep shouting 1-0 down the phone instead :P needless to say he hung up on me

I saw him! Don't have a problem with a Dale fan coming but did think it was a bit odd at half time when we was wandering about taking pictures of himself

Seen as there's a signing next week, and cos I'm drawing Ernie Cooksey for R.O.A.M, would any of you be interested in signed artwork?

I mean I could draw some players no problem and get the pictures signed next week for a reasonable price (I'll decide on that if anybody is actually interested). Obviously it'd be high quality copies you'd be getting, not the original drawings.

In a world full of scumbags and a game full of money grabbing mercenaries, this just makes it all the harder. A good guy has left us today and devastatingly left a heavily pregnant wife. Beyond words. 28...not even at his prime!!!

I was thinking summat similar earlier on, like how people look up to the football "stars" of today who value their ego's and wages above passion and love for the game. So it makes it even worse Ernie Cooksey was the one to suffer such a tragic fate, when in my opinion he personified what football should be all about.

Rest in peace Ernie, you'll be a hero in every sense of the word to those lucky enough to have seen you play.

It's ******* horrendous isnt it! Two of my mates have near enough been disowned by the lads for coming back from a year in Oz speaking like that! Again though I think it's most common amongst southern girls..........obviously (going up an octave for the last sylable there!)

Theres a girl at my college who would annoy the hell out of you then cos not only does she talk like that, but she slurs her words a bit and says "ohmegaaawwwd" as much as possible.

Typical conversation -

Girl - "have you seen Emily?"

Me - "Nope"

Girl - "ohmegaaawwwd she's supposed to be heeeeeeeeeere, ohmegaaawwwd where is she?"

Apart from a big name signing, we need three things:

 

Better food (more variety)

Beer everywhere (like the barrels someone mentioned)

Big screens throughout to catch re-plays and keep in touch with other scores whilst the games on.

 

Plus a big free PR event to launch it all - we're different type of supporters than 20 years ago, we need technology and entertainment just to satisfy basic needs!

Agree with that. Why did they stop serving chips anyway?
