  1. The minute they feel pressure or fans DARE to criticise, they immeadiatley feel the need to 'educate' us about the constraints of the job, totally neglecting to mention that we've got a large squad, and he's already been allowed to sign numerous players in addition.

    Spot on.

  2. He won't do that Lags, he just likes to post about it.

Has anybody seen Mills training with the youth?

2 separate reporters have now said Mills is injured and seen a specialist but haha Yarddogs knows better.

I'm no 'insider' but my mate saw Mills, Forte and Cassidy in OCL gym last week doing, what appeared to be, post injury training.

  3. You can rest assured Brown's method of 'assists' will be added to the the next edition of the uefa coaching manual and all coaches of teams playing against Oldham next season will be under strict instuctions to use powerpoints to highlight this effective style of play as we all want to see more goals in the game.

We're definitely seeing more goals. Shame they're in the wrong net.

  4. I've read things were much better at Vale, but rewarded with a permanent contract after 4 successive draws? I know that means we haven't lost in 4, so please don't use that as an argument. But to be rewarded for not winning just feels... wrong. Even Kelly had a win under his belt after 4 games. Am I the only one that thinks this a bit premature?

  5. Isn't it funny how opinions change?

Only a few years back, the rugby were criticised for being the main cause of our pitch problems. Every week in the Chaddy, you'd hear moans and groans about the Bears or the Roughyeds 'wreckin' the f'in pitch'.

One promotion later, and there's a strong support for their return.

Personal opinion? The football is bad enough on grass. It won't get any better on sand and mud. And if rent is still owed from years gone by, it's a no no.

Congrats to the rugby, though. It's about time the town celebrated sporting success again.
