  1. Would be a bit rich to criticise the fans after quite a number of poor judgments on their part in choosing managers. Im full of optimism but i like to see stability within the club and that's what im keen to see after the circus that was the second half of the season, it bordered on embarrassing at times
  2. The owners are 'banking' on him. Im taking a 'note' of all these jokes' I hope the owners let him spend a few 'penneys' He seems 'minted' in his interview. Seems just what we need in this curren(cy) situation. Ok im spent
  3. Well i for one like whitaker at least he likes to get forward. Always has to be individual blame doesn't there not the fact that collectively we carnt put the ball in the back of the net
  4. Kabba seems to constantly have his back to goal and goes down blind alleys. I stevie wonder if he knows where the net is
  5. Maybe they should look at how they distribute the food, maybe using a 'pie chart'?
  6. Agree and who's to say its fat and not muscle
  7. I'm still in a state of shock. My eyes glazed over when i read it. Unbelievable
  8. Thank you for all you've contributed to my club as a player and a manager Sheridan. I touched on it in my post the other day how with circumstances and a lack of discipline in the dressing room a team never plays to its full potential. Im really sad about it all but a new face was needed. This isn't just about matches its about days off, gregan's drink driving, belle vue basically a off field situation which the owners were clearly unhappy about. Sheridan you'll always be welcome at BP, i remember you coming out of retirement with your dodgy knee and being a midfield maestro with vision and a killer pass to die for
  9. Ultimately the buck stops with the manager. I think Sheridan has done a lot of good for the club, in management terms bringing the younger players through but the late brian clough said a team never plays to its full potential when theres ill discipline in the squad and we plainly arnt playing as well as we could be. Ive never wanted Shez out but youve got to think about the implications of all this, will things ever get back to how they were previously. Maybe a fresh face is the best answer
  10. Another factor is the Hughes/Windass partnership suffers because neither or them have real pace. They're in the box finishers and need the younger players to do their legwork especially Windass whos very immobile. I think shez realised that in bringing in kabba
  11. Ive spent the tail end of the week trying to block out the horror show that was bristol but i actually thought they were a decent pacy side but we didn't take the initiative. Impressive win that today sounds like we showed bags of character and im pleased windass was omitted, he doesn't want to know so why should we. Shez in all the way, never in doubt to me because if you look at the bigger picture look at the young players that have evolved into the side, taylor today getting the winner. Good blend of youth and experience. Incidentally is it just chance Taylors return to his best coincided with Jones' return
  12. Aye last time i was at Frankie & Bennys at Sandbrook they told me when i went in it was card only. Foods ok not amazing, very salty tho
  13. Surprised the teachers didn't say it was too cold today. Half term February. Think im in the wrong profession
