  1. It's beyond boring now.

Let's give him a chance to fashion his own squad without the ridiculous time constraints of the summer.

He was forced to bring some in on a trial period because he saw no other options on the market within his price range, and they've predictably not worked. He's realised that with Reckord, Klok, Woodland Jahraldo etc.

He was forced to construct a strike force who he may have thought were better than their showing so far, but do we really think he believed it ideal to only have loans?

Our lack of preparedness is proven in our stockpiling of right-backs: he brought in Josh Law immediately because he was concerned we may not have enough options, then saw that Dummigan was on the market and took him, while having Brian Wilson too. That is unlikely to happen at clubs where there is a plan and time to work with.

I'm not saying his management so far goes without fault - Lincoln demonstrated that he's in his infancy - but he's got a squad who have been jumbled together, at a club whose momentum is negative to the extreme.

It would've been this way with most managers.

    Brilliantly put.
  2.

He played 3 times last season according to Soccerbase (I thought it was more?) and did well. Ridiculous we've been playing Burgess instead of him.

Not only a good, solid defender but a natural leader like Tarky was. Really nice lad aswell, probably great to have around the squad...

Does my :censored:ing head in :censored:e like this..

Couldn't agree more. I hate seeing our good prospect youths being farmed out on loan. I've been singing Edmunsons praises for a while alongside many others that watch the youths - from equal amount of viewing he's better than Burgess, frustrates me far too much.
  3. Think about it . This forum is, amongst other things, a means of sharing information. As such the existence of a newsletter was shared with those two posters and probably with others . If they want to receive the newsletter in the future then requesting it seems to me to be a sensible approach. But hey it's not the end of the world if you disagree.

Pete, don't get caught up in all of this - your original point made perfect sense.
  4. He's catastrophically terrible. He was better on Saturday than his usual standard, but he was still really really bad.

Getting the wrong side of his man, constant fouls, tripping up over the ball, turning back to play negatively rather than split a defence, his first touch - all of the above showing he has zero proffesional footballing talent.

  5. If someone goes to a game, not having been before on a cheap ticket. They will say, at the moment, that it was so boring I'm not going their again. Issue the cheap tickets when we are playing exciting attaking football, and they will probably go back, and may even get hooked.

This is what Huddersfield have been doing, offering discounted tickets while they're flying.
  6. I know, defending is the least of our worries - but why are we giving Burgess chance after chance to develop and make mistakes when we could have one of our own, next to Clarke learning the ropes... oh and he's not a :censored:house, loves a battle and a tackle unlike that soft 6ft 5' lad.

Pulled in three MOM performances for Alfreton now, scored three with two coming today. Always looked a very good prospect in the youths.

  7.

Outside investment isn't the be all and end all - they could simply run the club/business better and generate more revenue to invest....

Like Sean Jarvis and Co. at Huddersfield (massively helped by a great coup of a manager) but they are a perfect example of fan engagement and how to get fans on board/on the terraces. Sean Jarvis was also brilliant at our place with that.
  8. Don't know why I feel sceptical even though we all know he's a big upgrade on Burgess in terms of ability

Although I am all for having the two hardest Scouse defenders in the FL in a partnership together, North Face trackies in tow

Very often say this, but if we can't think of a song for that partnership we ought to turn the lights off and padlock the gates...

Probably get noses turned up at the suggestion but simple..

They're big, they're hard - they'll break strikers in half. Clarke Gerrard, Clarke Gerrard.
