On top of what I said earlier... why the f*** do I have to go stand outside the ticket office to ask for my money back? I didn't even contribute that much, but i most defintielt want it back now they've not put it to its intended use.
As for them apparently not spending it, that's bollocks aswell. They've spent every penny of it.
They should directly refund without any single fan needing to go to any amount of effort.

This is unbelievable. Hand the money to trust you absolute cretins. It's fans money for a scoreboard which you haven't provided... give us the whole amount back and the fans will decide what we do to with it.
This is beyond scandalous how they're giving a timescale to get your refund... if they haven't used any of the money then hand it all back you lying bastards.
Im not one to get overly pissed off at the club and it seems silly to get wound up over this but how can anyone at the club think this is reasonable in the slightest?!?!
Stinks.

I honestly think that in that case 7500 in the Championship would mean we were getting smaller home gates than in League 1
Yes, considering away fans would average about 2000.. I think it would be upwards of the 8000 mark

Another clean sheet for Ripley and the back 4... ??

Hate to be negative, but has anyone seen these in action? You can see how cheap they are already... the changeover from one ad to another is so hard to watch and not smooth in the slightest.
Not it that I'm bothered in the slightest, just an observation

Is this not a good thing? But as per usual somebody manages to find a negative.
Who's found a negative?

If they're not good enough, do you take issue with their faith?

I dread to think if we had signed him how much of a pittance we would have let him go for ? Therefore its probably best we never did !
He wouldn't have even scored 10 if he played for us... therefore any price tag is unwarranted

Calvin Zola? Give over he'd be nowhere near the list of shit. Wasn't great but some of the above mentioned weren't fit to lace his boots

Wonder who that means is injured? Or does he fancy Stott over Edmunson, or just as backup because we're short?

Fuck sake Jeremy Paxman has piped up.
Where do you think 1500 ST sales puts us in the ST sales league, bear in mind that around 120,000 were sold in League 1 last season.
It's not great. But of that 120'000 about 50% of that will have been pushed by Sheff United, Bolton, Bradford and Millwall...

Have you got a similar breakdown of the role of a Left back that we can show Jamie Reckord?
Hats off to you.

Errrr, fans money hasn't been used. Maybe they could have clarified this earlier but fairplay to the club...

Not if he kept it in his pocket
He wouldn't get a sniff in our team.

He would have lost quite a bit of speed over the years anyhow.

We won't win but I'd be surprised if the currently available 6/1 is still there come Saturday.
Why?

I don't think many of us were hasty. He was mint first few games... then he went really really really :censored:. Now he's mint again with Shez!I'd keep Green as well, he has shown that we may have been a bit hasty with our judgement.

Keep the faith, Chris. Fair weather fan ?Fair do's.
I do read your posts, and I think we're very much agreed on the running the club.
My main point though was a reaction to what you said;
'if it's not worth the money, the club can't mean that much to you'
When I read that, I got a bit defensive. Of course the club means something to me, but in truth your probably right in some respect. I don't have the affiliation I once had.
I don't get a season ticket, because I work on Tuesday nights, so there's no massive saving over paying on the gate. I used to go to 10/15 home games a season, but I only go to handful of games these days for two main reasons.
1, I just can't stomach the football to go that often anymore. The games are dire. It's not the :censored: players per se, it's the utter lack of trying to win home games. I know we're mostly :censored:, I know we're on our arse, but I begrudge shelling out £30/35(ticket/petrol/pie&pint) without trying to win on a consistent basis. That isn't a reaction to just this season, I've been on the wane for a few seasons now.
2, I feel like like Corney is asking for blind loyalty, if I felt or saw that we were moving in the right direction, I'd be much more inclined to go. An I don't just mean results on the pitch. I mean communication and transpency, no I don't want to know what we spent on stationary last year. But I do want to genuinely know, where we are as a club, just be honest as you can with us. Unfortunately I don't believe a word that comes from the club anymore, the recent 'sit down' with the chairman was a farce, so that's dead. As fans we always we say it's our club. But to me it feels like Corneys club, and his alone. If I keep paying It's like I'm endorsing him. Right or wrong, that's how I see it.
So in summary, I do care. Just more from a far these days.

I'll admit to saying 'bring Erwin off for Obadeyi' in the build up to Erwin's second...Anyone want to admit to being the bloke shouting 'too slow' in build up to the first?

So they've sold 4600? Fairplay... what other teams have done that in the recent past?

Stott is left footed so can play in a three at the back quite well. Would really really like Stott/Clarke/Edmunson next season as our three... I like Gerard but he's not all that. Many may disagree but them two young lads are very highly rated and mature in performance for their age
