  1. Nope definite rumours that it is Taylor. And the money will be used for transfer fees, otherwise how else would we be able to make a bid for a player? Bit rich. Maybe last season you brought more, but considering it was the first of the season with a new manager, whereas at your place it was on t.v and a monday night. Wouldnt expect it to be any different. The season before you brought 500 on a saturday afternoon, we took 600 to yours on a tuesday night.
  2. On his day he was brilliant, just a shame that they didnt come very often. Hes going into their B team who play in the fourth division of German football, so not much of a step up if any for now. The chairman has said that some of the money will go towards strengthening the side, didnt say how much though. Obviousely enough to make a 6 figure bid for Taylor though.
  3. 650k could go up to 1.8 million. Plus around 300k for Cresswell.
  4. Greater Manchester has a higher crime rate than Merseyside you tool.
  5. Maybe hes getting bored of not getting paid.
  6. Rumours are that Tranmere made a £200,000 bid for him but it was rejected.
  7. £600,000 up front. If he was to sign senior professional forms and appear for the first team, the deal could rise to £1.8m. Doesnt really look that good when you see some of the other fees being splashed for players like Wickham (granted he played a division higher) and possibly Chamberlain. Hes a belter of a player though, just needs to be a bit more consistent. Suppose that will come with age.
  8. They have no money. They werent going to invest a penny from their own pockets. They were planning to buy us with high interest loans and charge hundreds of thousands of pounds to the club for their services. They wanted to make a profit for themselves in a couple of years time, and the only way to do this would be to sell our ground, and training ground. Sheff Wed turned them down, we turned them down, something tells me they're not up to much.
  9. Why would you want them anywhere near your club?
  10. Rueben Hazell is a class act. He's played at Wembley you know
  11. Towards the end of last season Akins started to show what he can do. His first goal against Exeter was the best of his career, maybe you can get a sense of how good it was. But yeah if it wasnt for Parry, he would probably be playing for a non league side like Solihul Moors. Cant be much good if your playing for them can you. As for Parry, he go what he deserved. A one year contract is hardly a sign from the chairman that he believes in him, just that he cant be arsed getting off his fat arse to find someone else. Im sure he will have us playing depressing football once again, but finish comfortbaly above the relegation places, meaning that the seasonw as a success.
  12. Huddersfield and Preston to go up. Chesterfield, Sheff Wed, Tranmere, and Scunthorpe in playoffs. Stevenage, Wycombe, Rochdale and Oldham down.
  13. Hes made more appearances than that im sure. He played around 30 last season alone. Hes a class act when it comes to attacking the full back. Raw pace, dribbling skills to rival Messi, and the awareness to pick out the deadly pass. He has alot to thank Parry for.
  14. Ive heard Dickov is looking at Lucas Akins who is out of contract at Tranmere. Theyve offered him a one year deal, Dickovs offered him two apparently.
  15. At least you have a decent manager who wants to play football.
  16. Yeah cant see us finishing 10th by any stretch of the imagination. Think monday will most likely be a tight game with either team winning 1-0.
