If he wasn't coming back for it would we be being pressed more at the back, meaning more goals for an opposition. Diamond seems shaky at the back, if he was to be put under more pressure I think we could be conceding more goals. He's a good striker (when he puts his mind to it) and some of his quality is due to him fighting hard for the ball. He's coming back to win the ball. I'm not sure we'd be doing as well without him. If we can get other strikers, eg Parker, Scapuzzi playing the same way the flying Finn does, I think Kuqi (unless he gets back into form) is necessarily needed. I do like him as a player but his performance has dropped and I think he needs to be playing better than he is to keep his place in the side.
