We usually don't have poppies on our shirts so I see no reason why we'll have them this season.

Premier League teams have worn poppies in all games played in November so far yet I've seen none in League One. Does anyone know why and whether we are wearing shirts with poppies next weekend?

Because it cost a lot of money to make new shirts just to wear for a few weeks. The premiership can afford it but lower leagues can't. Maybe teams like Charlton will. Those teams with more money.

I was thinking of whether to post this or not and was going to leave it but this post being here is a bit of co-incidence. Nothing solid and purely rumour but my uncle said he spoke with someone (and it was the usual type in these situations, someone 'in the know' ha) at half time in the main stand who claimed work was going to start next week on a new stand. Has anyone else heard anything more concrete or hear something similar yesterday?

He's got a decent throw, why do we not work on heading?

Not understood this for a while, Mellor certainly can play football.......just not at left back. He is making mistakes that are really costing us at the mo. If we're going to play him I'd like to see him alot higher up the pitch

I completely agree.

Mellor is a quality player but is definitely not a left back in my opinion. Chris Taylor is an attacking player. With Mellor at left back, Taylor is having to pull back to cover the left back position. At least Black is actually a left back and Taylor can go on attacking, like he should. Mellor is a very good midfielder. Black is a quite good left back who can stick to the position.

So what do you think?

He'd better not play both Italians. If Mancini wasn't good enough for today then he shouldn't be for Tuesday.

I thought Mancini looked a bit lazy. But he could be quality, we don't know. If he's been doing well in training play him.

What do we do for Crewe do we keep him in the net or get a loan in and i think cisak will get one match ban because it was not violent conduct.

No need for a replacement. Gerard is decent keeper (not as good as Cisak) and we're playing a l2 side so I think he'll do for a agame.

For the subs use a youth keeper.

I'm sorry, but we should wear them anyway.

 

If FIFA take any negative action in response we should tell them to :censored: off and set up our own international football federation.

Camberidge United are selling their trophy cabinet to get funds, they phoned up Sky sports news and it was only 30 quid now 2 million pounds. Could we do anything like this?

I don't see why not. We only have few trophies in there so why not? Get us that bit closer to a new stand / better players.
