    Used to be the first player id sign on football manager when starting a new season. Was good On that but then again so was warren feeney 8-). Must be pretty decent if everton offered him a new contract, albeit at a reduced wage. Hope the only reason clubs like tranmere etc havent offered him a trial is that they think he will want mega bucks.

    True about simpson, not seen him make an impact this season. But tbf to him few times on saturday he was dropping back deeper even than changy and furman, when we were playing keep the ball with tarky and mvoto, so that he could get some of the ball. Anyone else notice how furman seemed to end up at left back with grounds moving into midfield last 10 - 15 mins against stevenage?

    What would be your starting line up against portsmouth? Mine would be (4-4-2) cisak, grounds, mvoto, byrne, brown, montano, m'changama, furman, croft, smith and simpson. Read on OS slew has gone back to blackburn with a back problem so i'm assuming he wont be available.

    Another question is would Dickov stay around to be someones no.2? I dont think he would stand for it tbh. Im sure another club in our position would gamble on making him manager, hoping for another kuqi esc signing.

    Always thought he looked decent on the pitch but his attitude problems let him down. lets see if he keeps this form up all season or if hes bench warming over christmas.
