How about a Latvian replacement?

Waiting for a disc in the post but may have laid my hands on the City win from 96/97 so watch this space….
We wait with baited breath.. remember being one of only Two Latics fans in front of the Police box in the Lookers for this game, surrounded by about 100 City fans - then going bezerk when Banger netted the winner and then getting grief.
One more request if you have it...
Roger Palmer -v- Derby Co - 1991 League Cup
Winner 5 seconds after coming on.

5-1 mate, Easter Monday 1997, I was working and part of the fabled 96/97 review...
Ah, 96/97 - if no one can find these vids, proof of Ormondroyd's finest hour against Wolves and City on successive Saturdays will remain a myth forever along with Deirdre Barlows hatrick at Valley Parade
-
Moaning residents no doubt, still at least they'll be allowed no visitors either to bother them.
-
So if these generous 3 spaces are taken, does it cost to park on the Latics Car Park during the week ?
-
List is getting shorter I see ..
How about
McCarthy hat-trick -v- Notts Co (A) - Aug 94 - Sending us top !
Derby (h) 94/95 - Controversial winner
Bolton (h) 94/95 - McCarthy/Rickers pissing on the Trotters promotion charge.
Cheers

When calling out the half times scores, put a sarcastic chuckle in only when 'dale are losing.
-
Will it apply 24/7 ?
Yep, period.
-
Filmed by yours truly.... inc Baxter goal
-
Could have won, could have lost.
Incredible triple save by Dunbavin and a stonewall penalty denied.
-
Beckford had a decent-ish season I recall in 93/94 and was 17.
-
Great stuff, at work at the moment so cant view but will enjoy over a beer later.
-
Taking my youngster to this one, so may just sit in the main stand (as no mention made of the away seats on the Whinney Hill side being open) rather than get soaked standing up.
-
Ormondroyd.......December 1996, he was pretty awesome v Port Vale a few weeks before too
And amazing at Wolves about the same time... he had an amazing month and then utter tosh.
-
So what teams have blue and pink in their home kit that means we wear the Tangerine kit this season.

Mark Innes v Reading 99
Toddy Orlyggsson v City 99

How about a Pie-Eating showdown, first one to down 3 pies is the winner without any liquid to wash them down.
1st Prize - 5 pies to take home for the family.
2nd Prize - 10 pies.
They've not far to go to hospital either when the bacteria kicks in.

Ive just pulled off a few letters of my Maroon away kit...
TOREX FOUNDATION now reads .... T REX F. A. N
bang a gong....

Sharpe out, Ritchie in
On the grapevine it looks like it gonna be Warnock in the hot seat, a proven manager who gets his teams to grow balls, gets them organised and mentally ready and he has a fantastic record of getting teams promoted.
With Duxbury and Rush now recruited, survival this season I reckon and then a tilt at getting back into the Premier League next season.
-
Come on, own up - who launched the hot dog at Paul Durkin ?
-
Sorry, I was a bit tired yesterday. They can only qualify for this team if they played for Oldham Athletic (2004) Ltd. If they were sold for a nominal fee in the last few months of their contract then that counts, because they were offskis partly because SC let them run it down. SO, Furman would qualify, but Stephens is a better player IMO. And yes of course Tieney thats who I meant!!!!
GK Cisak
RB Lee
CB Mvoto
CB
LB Tierney
RW Morris
CM Stephens
CM Wellens
LW Taylor
CF OOH Chris O'Grady
CF Porter
I'd slip Reuben Hazell into your vacancy, as Captain and long server he had the audacity to ask for a meagre pay rise - he was shown the door.

I would try to leave the Accy game a little early also as Whalley Road can get busy for 15 minutes at Final Whistle, it's also against a 'prestige' team and live on Sky Sports.
