  1. Boycott everything apart from a ticket, pint and pie... Did nobody question how ridiculous this suggestion was?

It was not as simple as that by any means. It was a very good meeting, all details are in the group on Facebook. Some very very affluent people have been in touch with me am talking accountants business owners etc and things are really looking up. I no some on here are really behind this and it is very much appreciated but going forward no more posts about it will be made on here. One thing I have learned is some people will come on here to try and just have an argument or wind you up and I don't mind people disagreeing with me at all its your choice and opinion, I just want to 100% concentrate on what I am doing. I let myself down on here a number of times last week and I cannot keep doing that if I want to achieve anything. So that's all from me.

Just seen the turn out request, Lets just say 700% more than attended the OPEN fans trust meeting that I went too. Over the course of the 3 events so far your touching 150-200 and Id expect that to grow once we show up at games.

  2. Any rental arrangement is agreed between the parties involved. If the OEC has a registered office in London they will probably be paying rent for it. Most likely it's an address used by numerous companies and the rent is modest.

OEC utilise premises in a property owned by Oldham Athletic. It is reasonable to assume they pay rent to Oldham Athletic for that.

That doesn't mean they do. Just that as a normal business arrangement you'd expect them to.

It's my belief that if all the commercial arrangements between Brassbank, OAFC, OEC and other tenants in the stand were laid out openly there would be little there to raise an eyebrow. But there won't be many businesses willing to do that.

Yeah does seem to be a fair few registered there

  3. When the car parking deal with the hospital started five years ago it was stated that it would earn the football club £100k a year or thereabouts.

Brassbank may own the land but if they lease it to Latics rent free and allow Latics to collect the car parking revenue then maybe they're not quite the secretive evil company some seem to think.

If Brassbank aren't filing accounts they either have a nominal income or a nil income. Perhaps the Trust didn't answer the question correctly or the answer was misinterpreted.

Maybe that is the case, but the questions was pre put to the trust so they could collate the answers for the day and the answer was it all went to brassbank including match day.

  4. I have a question that I honestly don't know if anything dodgy is going on or not, so please don't for a min think am saying it 100% is but can anyone explain to me the following please.

Why is and has brass bank ltd always filled accounts as a dormant company? Oldham athletic 2004 ltd and OEC are both on companies house as active. Yet brassbank as dormant.

    https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/04919679/filing-history

    Now according this website

    https://www.gov.uk/dormant-company/overview

dormant companies are not trading and don't pay corp tax.

Now if they ain't trading where is the money from car park etc going, Brassbank has owned the carpark since 2004 and charge for usage, they also own all the land.

It get interesting here as to what is classed as a small dormant company and the fact your accounts don't need auditing.

    https://www.gov.uk/annual-accounts/microentities-small-and-dormant-companies

Like I have said there may be a simple explination so please don't shoot me down.

It just seems a bit weird that I have on camera too, answers from the q&a with the trust where they say all money from car park goes to brassbank and brassbank pay car park attendants how is that not trading?

Please don't shoot me down if I am miles off the ball here am just asking for someone to explain why it would be.

    Thanks

  5. Could you confirm whether this is speculation or you have discovered/been told this as fact? As it seems to contradict what Simon Brooke is telling us.

Money from the OEC going to pay the debt of building it, with a little going into the playing budget, makes sense. None going into the playing budget, a small amount paying off the debt, and the rest going into recouping the losses incurred in the early stages of TTA's tenure would be pretty appalling and something the Trust should be looking to address surely?

Well i think Simon needs to get the people on the trust to start saying the same thing as him.

  6. Where has it been said that the club receive money from the stand one day a week? Club events put on at the OEC goes as revenue to the club doesn't it? Sportsman dinners and the like can bring in a fair bit of revenue in on non match days which would still go as revenue to the club unless I'm mistaken.

No I would love to say yes it does go to the club. It doesn't tho, Ask the club or the fans rep on the board to clarify it pal. If its happening on a non match day it ain't going to Latics.

  7. This is what I thought was the case. However, it's suggested by Aaron (I think, may have misunderstood) that the debt for the stand is in the club's name and stand income for 1 day a week goes to repaying it. The other 6 days goes to brassbank and, presumably, the pockets of Blitz, Gazal and Corney?

    pretty much correct that.

  8. Some of the income goes to BrassBank because the stand needs paying off. I'd say like a mortgage on your house. So quicker the better I'd say.

With regards to a plan for pushing for promotion I'm sure we will see what that is like come preseason when we see or manager and players.

I get it needs paying for. Why should oldham athletic hand over the one day income they get tho to service the debt? When OEC and or brassbank get the income for the other 13/14 days based on us plaiyng at home every other saturday?

  9. You really aren't creating any trust and respect if you keep insulting and using abusive language.

Someone is questioning your arguments - is there any need to to respond like you are doing?

It's a bit worrying if you carry on like that when you are speaking with the club .

    Fair comment.

I apologize to the person in question.

  10. would be willing to work with the club? Yes of course but only once we have answers to the questions, and not just words but actual evidence.

    Whats the main aim?

To find out exactly the situation as to whats going on, to find out where this bigger budget has gone to, and clearly answers to all the questions I put in previous post.

Like the banner said on the day sort it out or get out.

  11. Instead of jumping all over our incompetent board that have overseen this complete goat :censored: of the last 18 months - let's gang up on a lad who is trying to get answers and perhaps a reaction out of the club into explaining what is actually going on. You couldn't make it up. Mr West and his gang of little mates are the future custodians of the club, let's alienate them, shout them down and make them feel like they don't have a voice.

What a good job Corney has done on you lot!

    Thank you.

I need to learn not to bite and post silly things and it will come with time.

  12. Come along Wednesday 8:30pm St.Annes Rugby club.

Listen I have kinda fell into this "leader" situation the group got bigger than I ever thought it would.

What I will say tho is Ive had messages of support from people within the club in trusted postions so I won't be naming them on here.

I want answers to the following:

Why does the club only see income 1 day a week from the stand, and then the one day income is taken away to pay the debt for building of the stand, am not an idiot (debatable) I understand that it needs to be paid for but why is oec and brassbank getting sun-fri income as pure profit and not paying towards the stand?

What exactly is for sale? How actively is a sale being sought after?

Where is the plan to move forward to try and push for promotion?

Why on match days does money from the car park go to brassbank and yes it does evan on match days.

If Simon Corney is plugging gaps in the club finances why does he draw a wage under the title managing director? (According to a trust member)

Why is everything up and running in the north stand except the fans bar? All other businesses to profit brassbank and OEC are open.

What happened to the sponsorship money that would "give us one of the bigger budgets" in the league?

Look the article in the independent didn't appear from thin air, no smoke without fire as the saying goes.

Maybe the land does matter more than the club.

  13. Ah can't take a sensible comment. Tell us what changes you want then specifically. Also have you got notes from your last protest group meeting to show the clear path forward you were discussing. Also the 1st meeting you had with the club, I'very asked numerous times for some notes from that to see the questions and answers. Not much to ask is it?

Ask simon brooke he sorted the meeting. I know it might be difficult foe someone with no brain to understand but I didnt imagine that 9months later some clown on the web would be asking for notes and i don't answer to your beck and call, if you want answers sort your own meeting out.

You keep mentioning that I ignore things, I will ask you AGAIN what is your problem with me?

  14.

    On here?

No not on here, well at least I don't think so.

Twitter and Facebook but you know what If it happens it happens. I will stand up for my beliefs and in this day in age am proud to say that I do because everyone else seems to have lost that.

Its nothing personal to anyone and I shouldn't have insulted you in my previous post.

You have your opinion I have mine, none is more entitled to each opinion more than the other.

We obviously all care for the club so passions run high I get that.
