big gutted about him going. most assists this season and all that without actually beating a left back all season. a real team player who always gave 100%. all this, "only decent after he lost the weight" rubbish is exactly that....always put in a shift and tracked back to help the full back. connor brown won't be happy - he'll get found out unless there's a similar replacement.

If its only a window, it's hardly been trashed.

is there a league table of assists somewhere on the internet? just wondering if he has the most assists in the league this season?
-
just used it for the first time. just to be clear, you don't HAVE to register with the webshop do you, just click on the (say) Amazon webpage through the webshop and that's it? is registering just so you can keep track of your transactions etc?

squeaky bum time....

Grounds alongside big Jean at centre back?
And who at LB - Quarmby?

I'd play Paul Murray for definate. A proper professional who, in the words of LJ wants to be a footballer more than being able to say he's a footballer. Single handedly kept us up before he left and, most importantly, was dropped by the Hartlepool manager who obviously thought he was no longer upto it despite being the player of the year the season before. Bags of energy, can pick a pass and will allow Jose to play up front with Barnard.
(but unfortunately I can't even see him making the bench again...).

The following names came out of the hat.
Please PM me with your full names for security purposes :
Barry
Barry, it won't let me send you a PM (maybe your mailbox is full?). I'll be there at 4.00pm though. thanks
-
Please get your names in by 10.00pm.
Barry, please can you post on here when the 10-12 have been picked. I have to be up at 5.30am and don't wanna wait up waiting for a PM or whatever if I haven't been selected.
-
Barry, I'd like to meet the new manager. Thanks

Does this count as a subculture?
Ha Ha!, I've whalloped one of them back in my school days....

He has been :censored: since we gave him a 2 year contract.
Not the same player as he was before signing the contract, but still one of our better players since he signed the contract. As said before, needs to be played up front with Barnard.

I got round to making this hoody commemorating Oldham's connection with Eintracht. I whipped up the designs so they're perfectly customisable. 1 or 2 (or 3) have already asked for them but they come at a hefty price from the rip-off shop who did mine for a "work discount."
Careful when selling unofficial wares. You don't wanna end up the same way as Trust Oldham chief Richard Attwood who thought it was a flea market outside Goodison on Tuesday and paid the price....

Shame it missed the first 30 yards of the run!
Better than Latics Player which for some unknown reason doesn't include any of the run.....I swear the highlights on that are getting worse.
-
please no.....
-
I'd clarify I've consistantly said a 4 year contract from his first appearance
what, and hope he doesn't go the same way as the lost podgy everton prodigy that we got?
(billy kenny).

how many times did he play for forest? maybe they have only seen glimpses. can't understand why forest fans would call him pap and lazy. Championship quality at least.....

I remember when Jason Mcateer played for tor the trannies against us probably about 6/7 years ago, we were giving him :censored: all game and he was giving it back, then with about five minutes to go paul edwards tried crossing it in and it smacked mcateer straight in the face before rolling back to edwards who again smashed it straight into his face, hilarious.
I'm guessing you must have sat in the Lookers Lower?!

I'm sure the people raving about him on here now are the same people slaggin him just before he left.

happy with Baxter. but most players coming on against a team who've played 60 mins can so jury still out. hopefully he'll put in a similar performance against Scunny. At least he showed genuine passion when he scored.Like Derbyshire, shows that they might be here for the right reasons.

He wasn't, but the referee and linesman were atrocious in every possible way. Unless i missed something off the ball, their lad got sent off for a perfectly timed one footed challenge, then he failed to send a guy off for a bad tackle with no goalkeeper in nets and only one covering defender against 2 oldham forwards. He gave us 1 out of 4 pretty much stonewall penalties, first being mvoto being pulled all over the place, second the obvious handball in the second half, third when the city lad got to the ball before the keeper and the fourth he gave. Yet he constantly gave freekicks for things that were never freekicks in a million years (normally to us fortunately) and gave out random bookings for inocuous challenges all over the pitch. I mean a coming together of bodies is deemed a booking, and then denying a certain goal is also a booking apparently but making a well timed challenge is a red card, work that one out. I'm fast losing interest in football to be honest, it's more like a theatrical dance than a sport these days - and i :censored:ing hate dancing.... and theatres!
Exactly - biggest case I've seen for penalities in years. Worst one was where Citeh defender got wiped out by their goalkeeper.

Agree with that. Simpson is obvious a good footballer, but seems lazier each week and content on nagging the ref at every stoppage (a la Taylor). Needs to concentrate on this game.
One of the undroppables like Cisak, and Grounds needs to buck his ideas up too.
Agree, with that about Simpson. Good footballer, but seems more intent on moaning at ref. No problem with Cisak though, last season he dropped very few blunders and has only dropped one bollock so far this season (how long did we persist with Dean Brill before he got dropped). Grounds isn't attacking enough for me but is fairly solid defensively.

Just bought a house in westwood. Looks like a nice area to live and only a stones throw from the ground. Bargain!
