Why would farm land be contaminated - animals graze there? I'm sure there's worse areas for contamination - like a tip for example (i.e. the Lancaster Club site).

While Stephens may not be hitting the standards set earlier in the season in general play, I am for once happy with our central midfield and I think we would be stupid to break it up. Stephens off form IMO will bring a lot more to the team than anyone we have in reserve and he still does a lot of good in the games if you dont just look for the negatives.

But that only shows that, bar Furman and Stephens, we have no other decent centre Midfielders. Jones has gone off the boil, Jarrett seems to be on his way out, then who else do we have?

Also to the idiots who have a go at Dale Stephens, he is destined for higher leagues maybe even in premier league, people slag him off, he is a classy player, idiots used to have a go at Neal Eardley, and look where he went...

I still can't understand why Fleming isn't playing, or even given a chance. Last time we saw him, it was near on two years ago and I'm pretty sure that (unlike Brill) he might have learned from his faults. The fact is, from what I've seen, Fleming is the best shot stopper at the club - and actually comes for crosses. A defence needs confidence in the keeper and vice versa. Its okay having a go at Hazell, but start from the back, drop Brill.

in fairness, Mvoto is a Plan B, and a good effective one. how hard is it for a defender to defend against Mvoto? his goalscoring record when he's been pushed up top for the last 10/15 isn't bad is it?

like so many other times this season, only lee and furman deserve any real credit, with morais (2nd half) and white also putting in a shift. stephens had his best game for a while...but that wasnt too hard.

is pushing mvoto / trotters up top not a plan b? did it after 70 mins against hartlepool and dogdale? is morais / white swapping wings not a plan b?

It clears up the fact that someone challenged the status but this has been dismissed therefore allowing the councils pending land swap application to move forward EVENTUALLY..... but at least its one step in the right direction.

I can't make my mind up if it's fair to judge jones just yet as IMO he's never a winger in a month of sundays.

I can't really understand why PD persists in playing him there....let's have a look at him in centre midfield in place of stephens, who again IMO could do with a wake up call.
