Statement by Chef Simon Wood on twitter about the clown AL not paying his way:

The club take the money from the hospitality sales, they’ve had it already. OEC provide a match day service and are continually not reimbursed....

Same as the deductions for cooking for the players who have money taken from their wages for breakfast and lunch. OEC provide for £0

OEC is lining the pockets of the 3 amigos yet the club is left with the massive bill for it so fuck them. We take away our services from hospitality side. It then Takes away the value for blitz. Only destroying their own little empire. Will be interested to see if they offer to sell it to him. We might actually start making money then.

  2. Sheridan’s interview is how passionate I want Bunn to sound. There hasn’t been an interview Bunn has sounded like that or had any dominance / drive over this side all season.

To me sheridan spoke like he was still Oldham manager for a fair bit of that interview.

Maybe AL is trying to get Bunn to walk without having to pay him.

There has been a scout from Preston at our last two matches. Very nice bloke, clearly knowledgeable about the game. Rates Lang but it’s clear from what he says, or smiles enigmatically about, that it’s Surridge he is watching.

Can someone say, definitively, what our loan arrangements are with Bournemouth?

I’ve scouted for Preston the last two years till the end of 17-18 season so spoke with a few people. They believe a deal can be done to sign him permanent. Break in loan deal which says can be recalled in Jan. Bournemouth offered him a new deal on back of Preston interest.

Personally dont think going from L2 to Champ is good for young development. If anything send him for 6 months in L1.

    Hope he he stays though.

  4. No matter how good Iversons shot stopping is, his reluctance to come off his line and collect a corner puts far too much pressure of the back four. Do believe there is better out there.

Send graham back and bring in a better centre half. If Clarke gets injured we are screwed.

Would send lyden back and bring a Cm who can control the game when Missilou or Maouche run out of steam.

I think Lang would be good up top so another right winger with pace and abit of quality would be good.

Dont think loads needs changing but few tweaks and we should be more than capable of top 7.

I can echo the sentiment in the early part of this.

The merits of the academy I am not qualified to comment on, I don’t know enough about it. I suspect at our level it is a very simple formula though. How much has it made/saved us financially?

Majority of players that have come through, have come from bigger clubs academies when they reach 15/16. Would think if we don’t reach L1 this season we will get rid of the younger age groups. Had heard Bunn didn’t want the academy which is strange due to his background. AL I thought he liked it. Maybe wrong though.

Just seeing the Fulham West Hsm game on tv yesterday too their were plenty of empty seats in that one and if they can't get close to selling out for a premier league London derby then I cant see them being enticed for this one. Everyone who wants a ticket will get one I reckon we will get the majority of the putney end of the ground if not all of it.

They are charging £15 in two of the stands for adults which will increase money we receive. They have been on sale to ST holders till Friday 14th so might see a few more sold by them this week.

Just checked.  Yes he is suspended for next game.

What makes you think he is suspended for the next game? Yellow cards reset after tranmere game didn’t they?, has he picked up 5 in the league since then?

  8. Sports Direct have control over the shop I believe until the end of the season when our shirt sponsorship also comes to an end. So they clearly don’t want to be restocking it when they aren’t staying in control. Got some good kit for myself and the kids for next to nothing. 2 polos and a jumper today cost £5.70 😂 as its 90% off everything, can’t complain.

  9. Today in the first half, for me showed what this side is capable of. Pressed high didn’t let them have a second on the ball. Maouche, Missilou and Nepo were superb our midfield is starting to be a dominant force. We look controlled and energetic can’t ask much more. For me Maouche is an upgrade on Gardner.

OGrady did the basics well which is what he seems to be sticking to and is getting the rewards.

As a team in horrible conditions, poor ref performance and playing in a derby it was a very good performance. We seem to have abit of consistancy coming to our game. Win on Saturday and we will really be in the mix

Just think the same thing. Met office reporting -2 in parts. As the frost covers don't work below that it could be touch and go.

    Lets hope its on

They work down to -5 apparently our frost covers from previous years of helping to clear snow off the pitch. Granted might not be as low as that as the frost covers are really old.

Looking at the Fulham ticket site it looks pretty close to a sell out already...although I'm not sure how it works with their season ticket holders which is probably most of the ground this year.

The "Away end" is still showing completely greyed out so hopefully that means they are, correctly, giving us first dibs on more seats once our demand becomes clear

I read somewhere the Putney end holds over 7,000...not sure we'll fill that :)

Putney end is split between home fans and away fans

I know he's not that sort of player...that's sort of my point.

If we start as at Crewe, with a midfield 4 of Lang, Missilou, Maouche and Nepo, and Maouche isn't up for this one, we will struggle. Bury at the moment are a completely different kettle of fish than Cambridge or Crewe, and they will likely rough him up early on and target him.

I'd start Lyden and Missilou as a middle 2 v Bury and bring on Maouche if we need him.

So play two defensive midfielders?! Give over.

You might like to revisit this-think O Grady has had a fair crack of the whip? Just scored a couple of goals and played well-don't hear you and others giving him a 'Maoche' boost. But 2 good games and he is a hero.

    Like I say let's see.

Bit different Maouche has been here 15 months and never been given a run of games.

Because he is ten times the player Maouche will ever be!

Stop talking absolute nonsense. What can you say against Maouche since he has come in? He came on scored and we’ve won the next two games? He keeps things simple and rarely looses the ball. Nice refreshing change. Really don’t see your gripe.

I’ve been the only one supporting Maouche

And me! His quality is there to see. Keeps things simple but his range of passing was brilliant to watch. Likes to drive with the ball and isn’t afraid to try something different. He gave us that attacking threat we’ve missed from midfield for a while definitely better when gardner went off but hope his injury isn’t a bad one.

Surridge has to do better again for his attempts on goal. Could of had 1 again last night - lacked that composure which I’m sure he will get with more time on the pitch.

Edmundson superb again for me won’t be long before the offers come in for him.

Iverson on will be a decent keeper in a few years but a couple of his saves tonight came from him either not coming off his line to collect a cross or poor positioning. However the one where hunt nearly put it in his own goal was top draw.
