yes i'm sure they are but i know that if i stay up late then it will affect my performance at work the next day and i don't have to run around a pitch!
years ago i used to stay up and watch the superbowl live and if i couldnt manage to get the day after off - i was bobbins the next day!
if we are looking for a reason for 'mental tiredness' then that seems to me the logical one.
i don't think boot camp has anything to do with it - playing xbox games, twittering and the like til the early hours is more likely the cause of the 'mental tiredness'!
at this level, games can be won or lost by who controls the midfield - mellor, smith, winchester, petrasso is not a midfield that will win that battle - really surprised that rodgers wasn't in there.
This modern excuse of "feeling tired" has crept into the game recently and it totally pisses me off! Ffs it only appears when things are going wrong... remember before we had the multitude of substitutes available each game - teams like liverpool won titles, cups and europe using 1 sub per game! Playing 50 odd games a season - they were never moaning about being fkin tired!
And my match report: absolute horse :censored: performance , happy fking christmas latics.
I can accept a loss to a better side but ffs we bent over and became colchesters bitch....

more or less sums it up...
I will add that Rooney should have been on at half time - he was 'warming up' during half time AND all the second half until he came on.
We had more or less stopped using petrasso by then so a switch should have been made-rooney and JCH up top with philly off them.
I know schmeltz is a but 'erratic' but why not on the bench? Instead drawing tickets at half time - unless injured that to me is an bad decision - should have given us the option to get him on last 10 mins to stretch their donkey defence.
The issue today wasnt the defence - it was the (lack of) creativity with our offensive play - when this happens there seems to be a push to change the defence! Which is pretty baffling.
They came with a gameplan to stop us building from the back - because too many players had an off day - we didnt play with our usual(recent) high tempo game - resulting in too many square passes, rooney was totally isolated up top ( some around me were grumbling about him but ffs no service) petrasso on but he hardly saw the ball...positive was that 'world class' goal by korey smith!
