When rooney is 'supplied' with that big hoof from the back he usually gets called slow and useless! We saw today that jch can't handle it either - maybe instead we need to feed balls into channels for whoever is ' up top' to run onto! But a great result against a team of rugby players.

I'm probably in a minority but i would start with rooney up top with harkins off him supplying the ammo with philly right petrasso left wes and smith holding - dayton is still feeling his way back and i think jch looks a bit jaded - use as an impact sub this time . I think we need to see if rooney with hopefully a supply can deliver.

I find that at times we pass too many times(if thats possible)! Last 10 mins - a winger either side- shrewsbury on back foot with extra defender on,we piss about passing it square between defence and midfield GET IT FORWARD - one pass will do- get at em....shrews only wanted to get it in the corners..we appear to be so drilled that " its the way we play" or is it they are too fkin dumb to take responsibility. Again i feel totally let down by a pisspoor performance which isnt helped when " we won the passing" .

Im afraid millar IS :censored: enough! He missed two other good chances too- no anticipation or want to be first to the ball...never a centre forward imo
