  1. Hammering his own players in public now. Bad management from a bad manager.
  2. Thanks. Hey, I don't take any satisfaction from coming on here and having a 'go' at the manager, players etc. I'm upset at the position that we're in. I've thought it since the start of the season that we're going to get relegated. It seems that Simon Corney agrees with a lot of my opinions as well. He's in today's Chron hammering the team for basic "schoolboy football." So i'm not the only one who thinks we're a poor, poor team with an overated, egotistical manager whose never done anything of note in the game, apart from sponge decent contracts off his dad at both Bristol City and Yeovil. The man is an invader and needs sacking.
  3. It's true though, so there'll be no libellous action.
  4. What do you want me to back it up with? I've just stated a fact, that's all.
  5. Take it from me - JCH is trouble. That's all you need to know. He's not worth the hassle.
  6. Where are the goals going to come from to keep us in this league? The four frontmen that he's signed are nowhere near good enough.
  7. No chance. Yet another defeat next Saturday followed by draws with Notts County and Carlisle. By which time we'll be firmly in the bottom 4.
  8. We've played decent possesion football all season but that counts for very little while we continue to concede goals and lose games. I said to loads of people after the Preston game that I was extremely concerned that we were playing well and still not picking-up wins. What's going to happen when we start playing badly? The manager has failed to replace M'Voto. He's brought in a latvian no-hoper who he's too embarrassed to play. Lanzoni is too slow. Mills can't defend. Smeltz is lazy. Rodgers isn't a player. Dayton is far too lightweight for this division. Philliskirk doesn't do enough during games and he's powderpuff. McDonald and Rooney are carthorses. I don't rate Oxley either. People say that LJ hasn't made a bad signing. I can't think of a good signing that he's made. Even Korey Smith has been poor this season. Yet more poor judgement from the manager giving him the captaincy. Clearly not a captain. How many poor judgements in this manager going to make before the vast majority of fans finally find him out? It seems that they all love him because he tweets garbage.
  9. I'm not really bothered how we get them 50 points, just as long as we get them. Traditionally, manager's have always aimed for the 50 point barrier to be sure of safety. The longer we go without a win, the more the pressure is on. It's going to be a long, hard winter of discontent.
  10. Yes, we may need less than 50 points. Traditionally though, it is 50 points. Get that and we definitely stay-up. No chance of us getting 50 points though with a tatically inept manager whose got no plan B. No hope for us.
  11. Everything that i've stated is true. We're sleepwalking towards League Two. Everyone on here including you is in complete and utter denial. Just because we play a bit of decent football, you all think that we'll be alright. Well, i've got news for you all - having possesion in areas that don't matter means nothing at all. It's not as if we're creating loads of chances either. The spine of the team is poor, he's poor, his signings have been poor. We're just poor all round.
  12. The most worrying thing is the fact theres at least 3 teams below us that are probably going to finish above us - Sheff Utd, Coventry and Bristol City. We're going to be the greatest footballing team ever to be relegated to the 4th tier. We can't defend, we can't score goals, we've got a clueless manager who 'talks the talk' but can't 'walk the walk' and the team is overloaded with powderpuff players who just aren't good enough.
  13. Because it's true. I believe we'll need around 50 points to survive. Where are them 15 wins going to come from? No Matt Smith this season to get us out of trouble. No plan B either.
  14. You judge a manager by his signings and this manager HASN'T made a good signing yet, apart from the possible exception of Korey Smith and let's face it, he's hardly been great this season. I'm affraid the writing's on the wall. If we fail to beat Orient, we'll need 15 wins from the remaining 36 games to survive. That's a tough ask and it's not going to happen. We're going down.
  15. I'm just trying to be honest. I'm not an 'happy-clapper' like you and a few others on here. Nearly 10 games in. Enough time to make judgements on the manager and his signings. Anton Rodgers isn't a player. Signed because the manager is arse-licking his dad. What sort of club have we turned in to?!
  16. I didn't have any expectations. I knew that Dayton would be a disaster. You can't sign powderpuff players like that from a rubbish scottish league and hope to have a successful team. He's too embarrassed to give his latvian signing a run-out. The two forwards he's signed are carthorses. This season is going to be,a nightmare. Theres nothing there, only a load of waffle from a manager who knows how to 'play' the media, in relation to communicating with the fans. He's good at that. The ONLY thing he is good at.
  17. I never expectedus to be in the top half, nevermind the top 6. I always expected us to struggle because the manager hasn't made a good signing, apart from possibly Korey Smith. The squad is full of powderpuff players. If we stay-up it'll be a miracle.Tatically naive with no plan B.
  18. Just looking at the table. If we fail to beat Orient next Saturday, we'll need 15 wins from the remaining 36 games to survive. Certainly a tough ask. Also concerning is the fact that 3 of the clubs below us - Sheff Utd, Coventry andBristol City are almost certain to finish above us, even though two of them have had really poor starts to the season.
  19. I agree. If we really want to go forward as a club we've got to leave BP. It kills me to say that because I love BP, but we've got to build something that can cater for the clubs' needs for the next 50/60 years.
  20. You judge the strength of a clubs support in how many they get through the turnstiles when they're doing badly. In the 1998/99 season, City were getting crowds of over 30,000 in the3rd tier. Even as someone who hates City as a club, i've got to admit thats great support.
  21. The 1980's were a traditionally poor decade for attendances. Everyone was skint and the country was on it's backside. I think they did have one year where the average was about 19,000 in the old Division 2. Still think it was the 6th or 7th highest average gate in the country though that season. We need to somehow start pinching these fans that United and City are picking-up at an early age. We'll only do that with a winning team and if we let the kids in for basically nothing.
