So you think that performance was acceptable? He was shite, constantly falls to the ground in a hissy fit just cause he can't hold it up cause, he's weak as fuck. Don't care if he scored, he offered nothing else against an absolutely piss poor team.

It was our midfield that was shite, Davies hardly got a decent pass all day. Long punts were chased against 2 men and he did OK and scored.

I dunno, I just like footballers who don't spend most of the game being bullied off the ball, and the rest of it either losing possession or being caught offside. Fair play, he scores the odd goal

I like players who get in a position to receive good intelligent passes. Unfortunately Davies plays for Latics and did well today chasing punts upfield (& scored)

Some fans are bigger fans than others. I haven’t had the passion to go watch us every week, win, lose or draw since Sheridan left in 2009. The regression of the club since that time, married with my financial circumstances for a number of years dictated that I had to pick and choose my games, so I chose based of whether I felt we had a chance of winning, in order to gain the best value for my money.

It’s a habit I’ve not been able to shake, because even though my financial circumstances have improved in those years, the product on the pitch really hasn’t. So it’s never really enticed me to buy a ST. It’s probably going to take longer term progression, (perhaps becoming a mid table League One team would be a start) for me to get the “bug” back.

It doesn’t change the fact that I am still a fan and go to at least a dozen games a season.

Surely going to the pub afterwards is much more important and interesting than anything that happens on the pitch.

Yep. And there's nothing he can do as it's reliant on money coming in to increase the pot available. Corney doesn't have that kind of cash. The takeover happens then AL can inject funds (of which 100% can be used as it's classed as 'Football Fortune Income') - as it stands, I don't think he's allowed to invest significant sums until a takeover has happened.

What if AL was paying  ALL the wages already? Hypothetical question

I find the pitch being still frozen and unplayable a disgrace as there was no frost last night, the club has to get undersoil heating put in sooner or later, if the Leicester U21 game is postponed more than once I will write to the club asking it to be played at the Macron Stadium, Bolton where there's undersoil heating, I hope the Rotherham game goes ahead on Saturday as I don't want to see two home games in a row postponed which would be a disgrace, at present there's no frost forecast for Friday night, so if the pitch was frozen and unplayable despite no frost the night before, that would also be a disgrace.

Good luck with that, Please come back and tell us when you get a reply. All the best.

Whether you’re a fan of the competition or you think it’s a waste of time, the question is are you a Latics fan and supporter of the club?

Of course you should go to the match.

Its a Latics home game. End of!!

    Hardly rip off prices. COYB

You just used the terminology 'end of' therefore have lost the argument......................................FACT

Feasible I guess but I suspect that the key factor would have been where the ground was. Can't imagine many diehard Latics pitching up to a ground in Bury. Could have attracted a new fanbase perhaps.

Somewhere like Slattocks towards Pilsworth, obviously it would have had to been equidistant for the 3.

This is very relevant with all 3 clubs being in danger of dropping down to the 4th division and none of them being financially viable in the long term.
