Why are people banding names about which pay wise are not even in our league, many of them wouldnt work for £800 a day never mind a week. Holden will most probably get it fits the bill, unlikely to rock the boat and will toe the line. If Scholes came in he would probably do it for nothing and that will be what the club are hoping for.

The only league club in Norfolk have already sacked him.
He is still well respected, is still on the clubs payroll and will be back working in their Academy set up in August.
-
Adams wont move from Norfolk he is more than settled in East Anglia.
-
Think Im gonna go to Curzon v Stourbridge to save me the heartache.
-
Bring your earplugs :censored:wit and dont start patronising us with your bull:censored: in the lead up to the game.
-
Anyone put money on when he'd drifted to 12's?
He was only as big as 8/1 at 11.07 Monday morning ;)
-
It will be dragged out over several weeks in typical OAFC fashion.
-
Now wouldnt it be ironic if we went on and did the unthinkable this season.
-
Gah - gutted. Back to mid table and a new squad next year, if we can get the points we need!!
And another couple hundred off the crowd, when will this bunch of muppets realise that short term greed will send you one way and its not up.

On Friday I leave my current job to go to a new one, it leaves the team I am currently in a fair old pickle, does that make me a greedy bastard? Judas? I've been here 7 and a half years, put some good systems and processes in place but am ready for a new challenge.
It happens.
I got told yesterday that I had my sparkle back, now if you have met me in the flesh I don't think anyone would ever say I had a "sparkle" let alone lose one and get it back. It is just another job that I am going to, same as Johnson.
Nice comparison but Id see it as you take a young apprentice on from school let him learn from his mistakes but continually support him and back him 100%, after two years when he is getting up to speed a rival company knocks on the door and he jumps camp at the first opportunity, not caring a :censored: for the chance he may never have got, its called being a :censored:house.

March 14th should be abit tasty if he does go
Theres only one greedy bastard
-
Any talk of him not being a loss is reactionary nonsense.
There's so much to be said about stability. We have steadily improved. If you'd given us ninth on 24 February at the start of the season most on here would have snapped your hand off.
It'll be back to square one with an unproven manager, hoping we get lucky.
To add a bit of perspective we are 3 points off 17th its hardly mind blowing progress.

If it's possible, I'm definitely putting a tenner each on Liam Kelly and Carl Winchester going to Barnsley in the summer.
Kelly and Wilson maybe, he doesnt get on with Winchester.
-
If he does go then its fair to ask why he was allowed to take charge of our game against Orient.
Totally agree and explains the piss poor tactics we adopted on the day.
-
Unless the deal is already signed, just not announced yet.
Out of respect for the fans who have backed him 100% I would still see it as a piss take.
-
Paul Murray wouldn't be a terrible choice. Knows the team fairly well and wasn't given a fair chance at Hartlepool who look doomed anyway.
He'd probably not take another season to make the squad his either, given that he'll have had a part in bringing most of them to the club.
EDIT: I'd still want someone like Tommy Wright as his assistant for a bit of experience.
No no no and no again.
-
It is physically impossible to give 110% especially when you are a short arse and a crap footballer
Maybe where DP struggles then
-
If it isnt a scouting mission the blokes taking the piss.
-
He always was. More than one Trust Director over the years has told me he always thought TTA/Corney would cut and run and he was positioning himself to take over.
Deluded as well then.
-
Wes isn't fit to lace Kelly's, Jones', Forte's or Winch's boots...
Maybe not but Wes was a good servant to the club who never give less than 110%, ability wise he would be behind them but ability counts for nowt if you cant apply it.
-
Could of come straight off the official.
-
Anyone who thinks K Smith was our best player last season is deluded, most ability yes but for two or three months he was carried, injuries were blamed at the time but he was basically :censored:e, using the logic applied in some of this thread it would appear Grounds is a better player than both Wes and Korey as he has been turning out in the Championship this season, its unfair comparing Smith and Wes as they offer different strengths to a team but imo Wes won the player of the year award on merit, I'd go as far to say our current midfield could learn a little in the heart and desire department from him, shall we get back to discussing our latest crop of stars now.

The contents of this next segment may be upsetting to people and difficult to explain to children. Bejesus.
Unless those children belong to Oldham fans.

Its worrying he finds it so amusing.

Holden has the players respect as did Wright its LJ who some couldnt stand so whose to say we wont improve, I just think since December its been one disaster after another and a tough game Saturday will for me either make us or break us.
