  1. Correct! Robinsons out of his depth completely, but all comes down to one man
  2. This actually going to start picking up pace? There's no point keep thinking up plans, to basically sort the board, or shift them, if nothing is going to be followed through. At the moment, the general feeling in the crowd is that Corney needs to be shifted, and going from the forum, there is a small minority still in Corneys corner, now is the time to actually do something. Never mind seeing if you have enough support, if you believe in this working so much then do it, support will build when the idea becomes a reality. I for one and many others will back you 100%. If we go down, as there has still been no fan uprising (and therefore no change) believe me, we will keep going plummeting
  3. We speculating again? "In addition, he has published ambitious plans to develop the area around the AJ Bell Stadium, formerly known as the Salford City Stadium." Pick out in that sentence where it makes clear he wanted to move Oldham Atheltic to Salford? You cant simply assume because plans had been published for an development, nowhere does it suggest we was part of that development. The press very neatly included it to give the impression that was the case, when there is no actual proof of it at all
  4. Jesus this is getting embarrassing now for you, ill leave it there, facts are facts based on evidence, in which you have none, that's how it works. But this is getting off topic now, sorry everyone!
  5. Thought no one was allowed to state something is a fact with no evidence? Seems someones a little bit contradictory
  6. Aye, hopefully we'll have a common cause in time. The way were going, they'll have to be one.
  7. So, people saying Sheridan left because he was being greedy isn't making :censored: up with no evidence? At the end of the day, you cant argue with reality, Sheridan left because County was a better prospect than us, you can choose to neglect it, but I expect that while you wear your corney tinted glasses. As for holding people accountable, the board haven't been for the various managerial mess ups, they haven't even taken reasonably for this transfer embargo, it was Rochdale's fault. There is no accountability. Funny isn't it, you pick up on the message I leave about Sheridan in which I have no evidence, nor do you, but completely neglect my other messages where I have evidence..... PS, their embargo was lifted 6 months ago... and they didn't blame it on another club leaking it.
  8. These arent words out of my own mouth, the chief exec last week stated it is doing really well...
  9. Not for one minute saying its true, obviously we haven't got a big budget, its been stated for months by Robinson how poor it is. Just making everyone aware that it was said by the man who owns us.
  10. 'If anyone thought' our own chairman stated it. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk//news/article/20140703-simon-re-sportsdirect-1715474.aspx
  11. The new stand is flourishing, as confirmed at the forum last week, and we are evidently dying (I don't need to explain why) so ye, better luck next time mate. You not clocked on yet that we only see matchday profits and everything else doesn't go to us?
  12. its paid in instalments, and looks like its gone to paying bills, which would be fine, if we was actually told, instead of being fed lies of a better budget.
  13. I would 100% say we haven't got an increased budget, we haven't seen the sponsorship money, hence the chief exec stumbling over it when asked about it last week. It was said it would put us in the top half of the budgets in the league, that hasn't happened. Robinson very openly stated we have one of the worst budgets in the league. We have one of the lowest budgets weve ever had
  14. This is why nothing will change, because the club is not held accountable for anything. Everything that goes wrong is always someone elses fault, or someone being greedy. And they have a winding up petition against them, which weve had in the past 6 months... however, we have huge HMRC debts (that's going to keep on coming), a transfer embargo, debts owed to other clubs, and a board that simply don't held themselves accountable for anything. Oh, and we have a new stand (which is great) but is flourishing while were dying, which doesn't really make sense.
  15. We will never know, but I think any Oldham fan that neglects that the club was at fault, even a little, for Sheridan's departure is 100% just defending the board at any cost. At the end of the day, if we give Sheridan what he wanted, he wouldn't of left for a league 2 team
  16. Please read what I put, I stated they had orders against them, but they are still not in the mess we are in. And, if anyone is under the impression that Sheridan left because he was just being 'snakey' you are purposely neglecting the fact that the club had a very big fault in him leaving.
  17. As much as everyone hates to admit it, Sheridan walked away to another club because he knew how much of an absolute shambles the club was in, he is one man that wouldn't stick around if he was going to be given zero support. It alright backing a manager when you are in a relegation scrap to sign loan players, and pay 100% wages, but you have to back him for the fresh start of the season which by the looks of it, he wasn't, Hence his main target going to Fleetwood. It's alright everyone sitting around and calling Sheridan a snake, but he left for one good reason, because at the time Notts County were a better prospect than us. And yes, they might have a winding up petition against them, but I can guarantee that club is not in the absolute mess we are, whereby we also have petitions against us, we owe clubs money for loan fee's and ticket fee's and we are under a transfer embargo. Seems fans genuinely won't admit how bad the club has become, as they are too proud to admit it, and more importantly, admit they are wrong about the status quo.
  18. Well according to Mike Keegan (MEN), he very blatantly hinted there has been potential buyers who would actually take us forward. And at the moment, Id believe him over anything coming from us.
  19. Nothing is ever going to change until Corney goes, this has been coming for years. SR is out of his depth, but it wasn't helped that the board left him with a month to sign an entire squad. Disgusting, and yet again, a certain section of fans are letting him get away it. No accountability at all.
  20. Bang on, the absolute embarrassment that is going on is the tops fault. This has been coming for years. As much as I like Robinson, he is going to have to go, as he is out of his depth, and yes the players are dreadful, but this is one mans fault. When you have FOUR players a month before the start of the season, this was inevitable, everyone called Blackpool for doing this, and guess what, they went down. It gets to a limit where you cannot keep simply blaming managers, you get what you pay for. Who is really under the naïve belief that if we get rid of Robinson were going to end up with experience, we'll end up with Rookies. Just as we did with Kelly, Dunn, Robinson. Lee Johnson being the exception. This mess will carry on and on, until fans stop defending the absolute shower from above, no one holds anyone accountable, everyone just turns a blind eye.
  21. Aye completely agree, i think there is miconception that people are annoyed at Corney because were skint, when thats not the case. Completely concede that he probably is a nice guy, hard working etc... but at the end of the day , the gripe is that there is a lack of transparency, e.g. With whats actually going on, and the feeling that he doesnt get held accountable for the unbelievable mess ups thats happened in the last few years. If he genuiely, instead of half heartly admitting a 'few mistakes' actually came out, was completely transparent (looking like that might actually happen now) and basically admitted how many f*** ups there has been and held himself accountable, then im sure, i would myself anyway, change my opinion to an extent and focus solely on the football
  22. Well lastnight, brass bank/blitz had supposedly built it, did any fan actually know this? and how much do we actually owe to them? How much has been paid to them already?
