Your season ticket buys you a season ticket not a superior right- 😂

Season ticket is important money over the summer, but it doesn’t fund everything over the course of the season. That’s where match day and POTD revenue comes in.

I’ve spent more this season by POTD, than people paid for their season tickets. So by your rationale- I deserve  a bigger say than you because I’ve financially made a bigger contribution. . .

Or maybe we should realise it’s each to their own, no fan is better than the other and each individual does what works for them.

Think the point is the season ticket money is what they'll gauge to budget for the season. If nobody bought them or there was a drastic drop I'd imagine that would affect recruitment in the summer

I was castrated for saying his signings have been shite last week.

(Not by you I might add)

Some people on here are incredibly hypocritical.

Judge Mellon and his team over the season, not one game. The reaction from some on here to going ‘toe to toe with the champions elect’ (fuck me that is cringe) was ludicrous. We played well in a single game. Whoop-de-fucking-do.

As things stand we are on the verge of not making one bit of progress under Mellon which would be hugely disapointing

he could yet turn it around.

time to show your minerals players.

Yes, judge him over a season. He's not had one

Well you can fuck off tbh, I’ve probably been supporting this club a lot longer than you but have finally come to the conclusion that it isn’t enjoyable anymore and certainly not good value for money or my time.

Today was once again dreadful. The players don’t care and the manager is a total dinosaur and his team selections are absolutely shambolic.

If, by some minor miracle we get to the playoffs and Wembley I am sure I will come out of retirement but we all know that isn’t going to happen so with that, I am done.

Logging off OWTB and my love affair with Latics and heading off. Cheers all.

    Cheerio

I ducking hate this squad, took hours to get here through the rain and traffic and the feckin Dartford crossing and these lazy, spineless pricks can’t be arsed to even try

MM can fuck off too if he thinks this is acceptable. Second Half to come but really not sure I’ll be coming to watch Latics much after this, most of the enjoyment has gone and if the players don’t give a fuck why should we?

    Haha off again I see

Massive game, should be same eleven but Mellon might be tempted to bring Hobson back in given the frailties we showed on Saturday.

I didn't think we looked particularly frail at the back. Considering who we played against, they scored with a lapse in concentration and with a pen that wasn't a pen.

Apart from that they hit the bar.

    Not much else

Anyway back to the issue, I don't like it, it's poor form from our best payed player and that's my view, I don't take sides and behave like I'm in the playground I'm my own man, so what you or anyone else has to say won't sway my opinion. Like I've said he isn't bigger than the club despite what he thinks of himself.

Strange view to take woth no knowledge of his circumstances

I almost wish I had never discovered it, so I could discover it all again. You're in a privileged position.

You're about to discover probably the last timeless, genius of a character...

Him, Brian Potter, Jim Royle and David Brent some of the best characters in recent times

He should of turned up and accepted the award from paying guests, bad form that he hasn't, it really is that simple for me. Nobody else in the squad would of been given that leeway and it smacks of arrogance, regardless of the circumstances.

    Imagine siding with @deyres42

Saying nobody would be given that leeway is a ridiculous statement.

Sounds like Ousmane Fane, except he’s not a patch on Fane

I didn’t like him either, or Sylla. All the same type players.

Sheron first name in midfield for me. Offers a lot more than other in 90% of matches. You won't ever see him pull out of a tackle and he's not afraid to come get the ball, he won't ever hide away.

All those that think he's absolutely shite, ask yourselves why his fellow players voted him player of the season last year. Do you reckon it's because they think he's shit and gives the ball away too much?

  9. Great all round performance today. Every single player contributed positively.

The tough thing is playing teams who don't give the space that Chesterfield did.

If we press like we did today and try not to panic on the ball then we will easily pick up enough to be in the playoffs.

We've got enough players who are comfortable on the ball to not resort to lumping it.

Played very well and should've been able to see that game out.

Don't know what Raglan was doing for their first? Waiting for the ref to blow??

Was it a pen  for them? Either way, you can't let someone burst into your area like that and not expect to be in trouble.

Liked that formation and line up even if it took a while to sink in that McGahey was right back and Lundstrum was on the right.

Didn't look a pen. Looked to me like he just dropped

Yeah, it demonstrates that we have been able to keep up form with a team that is 2/3rd through that period.

    You really are thick.

    aaaaaand we're 8th....

    MM out? Season over? 🤣

I'd much rather be in with a shot of the playoffs with how we're picking up points than playing exciting, attacking football and be 17th.

Yes, there is an in-between, but as long as we are in with a shout I don't care. If we don't go up this season, MM gets a proper crack at it woth a full preseason and can pretty much manipulate the squad as he sees fit.

Next season, if we're playing the same way, then I'd want us picking up champion level points or it will be proper shite. I just want promotion. Don't care if we play 11 Harrison Mageheys to do it at this stage.
