palmer1
have to say i though neil was very excellent, i didnt go to tranmere where ive heard he was very good but he seems to hitting a bit of form im not talking about his passing im talking overall, their winger did not get a sniff today and that was due to his hard work he defended superbly at times. and for all those who say look how much room he gives to the winger at times , look at the position of the cente backs and the space that would be left if he stood on the wingers toes, he knows his position and he is learning, he will get better. he seems to be linking with liddel btter and even if it does not come off all the time it is is getting better, so for all those who slag him off constantly , he may not be premiership (which some people expect coz he been linked to those teams) you will not find may better full backs in this division and yes his passing is inconsistent but that ball to lewi just after half time was class and not many fullbacks could have done that especially in league 1 behind allot he was next choice for man of the match...keep it up lad
eyres_28
Good 2 hear some +ve comments bouts eardley. Yeah! He was class at Tranmere 'n' didn't get the plaudits cos of el capitano's MOM performance. His only fault defensively yesterday was getting caught misreading a diagnal ball again, but used his pace superbly to prevent a cross on the byline. His positioning when Reubs goes up for headers is terrific and even though not as consistent as last week, his distribution is improving again with confidence. Would put him just behind Allott and Reubs for MOM
jsslatic
But I was under the impression he was officially below average. Edited September 14, 2008 by jsslatic
KYLEOAFC
But I was under the impression he was officially below average. Eardley seems to be match fit at last now! he's alot sharper and yesterday looked great.
ghostofcecere
Well IMO both full backs were our poorest performers yesterday.......... but in the end they were just the worst of a excellent buch and it didn't cost us anything. LaticsLegend
Eardley was a stand out performer when usually his good points arent noticed very much. Along with Allott and Alessandra, impressed me alot yesterday.

slystallone
i voted for Neal for MoM, thought he was excellent on sat. His defending is top notch at times, and thier winger; Wright, who isn't a bad L1 player didn't get a sniff really. Reuuuuuuuubs was class too defensively, and Ratters put a good shift in as well
