Shez - Midfielder Wright- Winger Dux- Midfielder Philiskirk- Attacker I really do think we need someone to coach the defence at the moment, I think Shez is concentrating too much on midfield and the defence is suffering, I would love a Shaun Garnett type character to come and help our defenders who look lost at times! beag_teeets Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 Slippery slope this, it hasn't worked elsewhere - Newcastle brought Lawro in under Keegan, still shipped goals. Dux played sweeper for a bit and was a defensive minded midfielder so he must know a bit about stopping goals. He is now just a general coach and takes charge of the few reserve games we have. From what i hear he is a pretty good coach with younger players. He provides the backing for Tommy to drag the odd unwilling sent-off player from the pitch.
