jsslatic
Brilliant to get ourselves into 4th before the little break. Time to regroup, freshen up and then push on from where we left off. Looking at the fixture list now before new year: Brighton (h) Peterborough (a) Orient (h) Crewe (a) Carlisle (h) Massive opportunity for us now. We've proven ourselves against the top half of the table, now it's time to dispatch of the dross in the division and make an assault on the top. Yeovil's shown us we can't be complacent...but the fact we've thumped the other two sides really struggling that we've played (Hereford and Cheltenham) 4-0 proves we can do it against the poorer sides. Would take a point at London Rd, but even with due caution and knowing anyone can beat anyone in this division...we should be looking at picking up maximum points in the other three games and getting ourselves into the automatic places by New Year. As long as Shez can keep everyone's heads screwed on and avoid complacency, December could be a very, very good month.
JohnnyPimp
Brighton (h) Peterborough (a) Orient (h) Crewe (a) Carlisle (h) My resolution in the New Year is to stop reading the fixture list and guessing how many points we'll get. However, that's over a month away so I'm going for 10 points from the 5 games.
kellys_discopants
TBH got to be looking at 12 points there. 3 home wins and an away win at Crewe, anything at PBoro is a bonus. Its going to be a tough game at Peterbrough.

Guest oa_exile
Its going to be a tough game at Peterbrough. Knowing us that's three points in the bag and we will it up V's Crewe
Guest sheridans_world
Crewe will be postponed, a frozen pitch on boxing day I imagine, its because they have one really big stand that blocks the sun out and three very small ones. jsslatic
Top 8 fixtures for the rest of 2008: Leicester: Southend (h) Carlisle (a) Peterborough (h) Leeds (a) Hereford (h) MKD: Scunthorpe (h) Brighton (a) Leeds (h) Bristol (a) Southend (h) Millwall: Bristol (a) Walsall (h) Crewe (h) Peterborough (a) Yeovil (h) Oldham: Brighton (h) Peterborough (a) Orient (h) Crewe (a) Carlisle (h) Peterborough: Stockport (a) Oldham (h) Leicester (a) Millwall (h) Cheltenham (a) Scunthorpe: MKD (a) Northampton (h) Colchester (a) Hartlepool (h) Huddersfield (a) Leeds: Tranmere (a) Colchester (h) MKD (a) Leicester (h) Stockport (a) Stockport: Peterborough (h) Yeovil (a) Bristol (h) Walsall (a) Leeds (h) We probably have the best December fixture list...if Posh are still up with the pack come 5pm on 28th December then they're going to be a major force in the New Year. davegtt
Agreed about spanking Peterborough. 2 nil to the 'tics. We'll fall the week after though and look like clowns
