losesome
Todays attendance was 4700 - After todays poor performance the match on Tuesday will be lucky to attract 3500. So whats the difference at Stockport. Lost their last 2 matches badly with little or no effort (according to my mate a S/T holder there) yet today against bottom league side they get 1000 more than us ??? Team is still punching well above their weight - Latics aren't. Still got memories of promotion success fresh in their minds, including a day out at Wembley - Latics haven't. Super 10 tickets (an absolute must for Latics to take on board) which allow fans to pick and choose which 10 games they attend at a discount - Latics haven't. The Cheadle End is a superb stand (even if the rest of the ground is a dump) - the RRE is too, but people get messed about in there by away fans pinching their seats, drums naffing them off, idiots goading away fans and over zealous stewarding. There is no doubt that Oldham Athletic SHOULD get bigger crowds than Stockport County though.

The 10 game ticket is a good idea . Assuming that none of those that have bought these would put Hereford as one of their 10 then the gate yesterday was pretty good for that game. Will be interesting to see how many they get for MKD on Tuesday night !! Edited February 1, 2009 by losesome

LaticNik
They're kids playing football how it's meant to be played. Far, far, far more entertaining than the shower on show at BP thesedays. E4e GRASS

E4e GRASS To be fair, the performance Latics put on last week against County showed what we are capable of, how we should play, and explains why fans get so irate that the team doesn't deliver performances like that 75% of the time. I accept you get bad games in football. I accept you don't always win when you play well. I cannot accept the excuses for not combining the talent that we have with a winning attitude though. Diego_Sideburns
At Walsall yesterday, where the club has been spiralling down the League, and the total attendance has averaged well under 5,000, the crowd was 8,920, of which 5,235 were home supporters and 3,685 supporting Leeds. Thankfully, in financial terms, we can rely on the Leeds supporters almost doubling yesterday's attendance at BP.
