Diego_Sideburns
It's probably all the fault of the steward the 'Burton Two' had a 'discussion' with at Forest last season. When I asked him why the home fans weren't being prohibited from standing, he said the stewards were in the away section enforcing the no standing regulation for that match, but for the next match they would be in the home section enforcing it there. You couldn't make it up!
LeylandLatic
The no standing rule is truly ridiculous. It's hard to know where to start on it to be honest, what is the potential hazard exactly? You're standing in rows behind seats, even if you somehow fell over the seat in front it's hardly going to have a domino effect, you'll fall one row down and that will be it? The imagination of the people who think up the worst case scenarios by which these rules mare made are truly impressive.
jsslatic
Having stood in the Upper Tier of the Kop for their last home game last year (which they won to secure league status), that's a shame. The place was rocking (partly helped by the £5 entry fee, granted), and from reading their MBs after the game they were desperate to have the home fans move back there (away fans now situated in the Jimmy Sirrell stand on the side)...they've finally got the stand back and they shut half of it down.
