It's a new "narcissistic tool" to let people know where you are and what you're up to (in 140 or less characters)... For example, I could send the following "tweet" to all my "followers": "I'm reading the OWTB message boards when I should be working..." You can follow all sorts of celebrities' tweets... or you can do what I do and follow OWTB Latics fans at the match and get instant updates on how bad/good/indifferent we are playing...
