I thought you could get pissed/stoned out of your mind and still get in. It turns out not. Ah well, £20 something lost, but still an eventful day out. Everyone, including pensioners, was body-searched at Brighton. Perhaps the sight of the steward fainting from the smell of beer-breath had something to do with it in your case.
