leeslover
As much as I thought JR was a brilliant manager (second only to the mighty Frizzell), his decision making regarding choice of players is still open to scrutiny. I am fully aware that Joe had more successes than failures in the transfer market but don't forget Joe brought in Kilcline once we were promoted and let go Redfearn to highlight a couple of mistakes. So he is not infallible!!! Every manager in the football league has let Redfearn go at least three times, have you actually seen his history? Rick
It was Redders' decision to go. He even says so and that he was being pig-headed in his AutoBiography - so not Joe's fault
mikejh45
I'll give you that - you were happy to give Liddell credit when he started last season well. That said, if Greegs is rubbish I'll be defending him to the hilt, providing he keeps the strut. B*st*rd!!!

Diego_Sideburns
Show me a manager with 100% perfect judgement ? Some say Taggart but then there was Massimo Taibi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtxmFGrDF8Q
Cookie Monster
I watched Oldham v. Bury. as a spanish friend said in her broken english "that man he is a bull" followed up with in the second half "that bull man, he is not so fast". I thought that was an accurate assesment. If you can get past Gregan, he won't catch you...............the trouble is, getting past him.
