It was their type of game, i.e. a lot of high balls to contend with.

I've only seen him twice.

 

Why do you rate him?

 

I like a goalie who can organise a wall at a free kick, take the right position behind the wall, come confidently for crosses and get the every time, communicate with his defenders etc etc.

 

From the 3 hours I've seen, he doesn't do that. So what do you think he has to offer?

Surprisingly enough (for those that saw his performance against Swindon) Brill did have a good game against Brentford, he still hasn't shown enough for me to warrant his inclusion over Fleming though.

Only one man made the difference between a loss and a draw, Nick Blackman. I like the look of him.

His goal made the difference between a defeat and a draw - but then Brill's save from Kabba could equally be thought to have made that same difference.

 

It raises the question as to what is the definition of 'Man of the Match'?

Is it the player who played best over the ninety minutes or the player who contributed to a decisive moment in the game?

and there were a number who played better over the ninety.
