Diego_Sideburns
The rarely wrong Chron lists the injured players: Joe Jacobson: Pelvic joint Andy Holdsworth: Virus Kelvin Lomax: Groin Liam Dawson: Broken hand Paul Black: Hamstring Jon Worthington: Ankle Chris Taylor: Pelvic joint Rob Purdie: Pelvic joint Deane Smalley: Back Keigan Parker: Virus Three pelvic joints and Smalley may need surgery on his back. DP admits he has never experienced such a lengthy casualty list with less than one month of a new season completed. Whatever happened to those 'healing hands'? TheBigDog
The rarely wrong also mentions that Worthington, Holdsworth, Parker & Lomax expected to be available for Hartlepool So a team of Brill, Holdsworth, Hazell, Gregan, Sheehan, Colbeck, Furman/Parker, :censored:, Whittaker, Blackman, Abbott with Furman/Parker & Lomax joining Ollerenshaw, Lee, plus Brooke, Rowney, Bembo-Leta - still just about scraping a squad together

However, the balance of the team would surely be disrupted. Can't see him getting in up front or on the right so can only be left with looking at challenging Whits for the left wing in Taylor's absence

He has done sod all on the wing for the last 5 or 6 games, the only chance to prove he is still anything like the player he was at the lashers is to shove him up top... he didnt play behind the front two there btw, it was him and Morrell up top, whith Hoolahoop on the wing/just behind them, but the whole point is that they were all interchangeable.... I doubt severely if Furman will be dropped for Parker, leaving the only possibility as Blackman, which is dountful but perhaps the little/large combo may tempt Penney... We will see.... at least we have a couple of options unlike tuesday,,,
Diego_Sideburns
We will see.... at least we have a couple of options unlike tuesday,,, But, with a bit of luck on Tuesday, we could have been 3-0 or 4-0 by half-time as plenty of good chances were created.
