JoeP
Got to hand it to Robbie Savage: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/8453055.stm A snippet of the enthusiasm shown by him in this interview wouldn't go a miss in our team. leeslover
From the (extended) highlights I saw of their last game he seemed not to be exactly fired up for the cause, very lacklustre while they were being overrun in midfield.
garcon
Has anyone ever seen him in the same room as Sally Gunnell?
Zorrro
No, and I don't think I ever want to. Especially if they're both naked.

Diego_Sideburns
BBC Radio Derby has a massive influence on opinion amongst Derby fans. It broadcasts commentary on every Derby game and does a phone-in every week. Colin Gibson has broadcast for the station on Derby County matters for nearly thirty years and has been a Rams fan for the best part of forty years. Talking of rumours on message boards is one thing but sewing seeds of doubt amongst fans by referring to unsubstantiated rumours over the air waves is another. After being Savaged on the air, he may think twice in future about making damaging throwaway comments.
beag_teeets
I don't like the man but heard a snippet of this on the radio last night and have to applaud him. The way he laid in to the journalist "Johnny Metgod, who'd he play for?......Real Madrid,....... Mr X, how many cup finals did he play in?" I especially liked the bit when he went on about the Sun, Telegraph and the rest of the nationals in comparison to the local press. Just a shame some people down Union St probably weren't listening. Diego_Sideburns
Just a shame some people down Union St probably weren't listening. Oldham has thousands of Latics stayaways whose only information about the Club is via the pages of the rarely wrong Chron. There are not enough interesting stories about the Club and its players available on a daily basis, but newspapers must be sold. It's human nature for people to read/listen to rumours/speculation, in the absence of official statements or, as has been proved on here, in spite of official statements/answers to questions. The Chron tries to keep the interest alive by speculating about injuries, transfers in and out, possible new owners, NIMBYs and the weather's affect on fixtures.
