Lisa
We have some kit that the ball boys have used each matchday during last season. The kit was supplied by JD Sports and Carbrini and has no printing refering to Latics on it. It is either very dark blue or black, I can't remember!! We have the following items and sizes size 32 (age 10-11) 2 jackets, 3 pairs of trousers size 33 (age 12-13) 4 jackets, 4 pairs of trousers, 5 coats size 34 (age 13-14) 8 t-shirts, 1 coat, 9 polo shirts small mens 3 jackets, 4 pairs of trousers, 4 t-shirts, 2 coats, 4 polo shirts medium mens 1 jacket, 2 pairs of trouers, 2 t-shirts, 1 coat In total, 59 items. We are looking for suggestions of what we can do with it. The first option would be to sell it but we are mindful that many local youth football clubs will not be rolling in money! Anybody got any ideas? If possible, we would like £80 for it all. Edited September 13, 2010 by Lisa
MaskedOwl
why dont you contact all the local youth football clubs and run it as a raffle. £5 a ticket with chance to win the lot? That way you would make your money at a small cost to the clubs.
BigfinLatic
Its a pity Wolfy doesnt still play for us. He could have had his training kit sorted for years.

Thats not a bad idea - as someone who has done some work in the clothing resale area a trader would only be looking at £1-£1.50 a unit for childrens clothes. laticsrblue
You could ask whoever you give them to if they wouldn't mind making a donation to the player share scheme. Edited September 13, 2010 by laticsrblue
stevesmitt
why not ask the boundry blues members if they want it for a small fee, say £5 for 3 items.
Lisa
Thanks for the suggestions, the kit has now gone to a local kids football club who will get plenty of use out of it. Lisa
