On the Daggers fans' forum someone posted: Kept noticing the flag when watching highlights this season on BBC, home and away, ad was wondering if i'd see it yesterday - and was nice to see it present. It's a sign that interest in Latics is picking up now that an advertisement has been positioned in the TV camera-catching spot in the RRE where the Ernie Flag is usually positioned. The Flag was in the Chaddy End last night and Sod's Law determined that all six goals were scored at the RRE and there wasn't even a corner to be taken near the Flag.
