futchers briefs
Very, very envious. Having seen Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth in years gone by at the Apollo - The big 4 would be something else!

leeslover
Motorhead the ones i am looking forward to today. I'm not down with the kids so dont really know much about most of the others. Saw a really good band on one of the smaller stages, got chick singing, two guitarists who could play proper rhythm as well as solo and a Hammond organ, will try and find the name. Latics_Al
Have just about recovered from this last weekend. It is by far the most freindly, laid back "large scale" Metal festival in the UK, far better than Download IMO. As it is only in its 3rd year there are still improvements to be made, but it is not far off being perfect. Having Bill Bailey as the "buffer" between Motorhead and Slipknot was genius, "Still not back to normal after Knebworth gig. - have image of crowd singing along with Scarboro Fair Rammstein style." Local police also praised festival goers as they declared "this festival was the safest in the country so far this year in relation to crime". Some Vids Ginger (Wildhearts) Big 4 play Am I Evil Motorhead http://youtu.be/YWs07mz6IzU Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine cover Slipknot Slipknot with the original http://youtu.be/CTiLIRcNtP4 60,000+ metalheads 2 mins silence for Paul Gray http://youtu.be/tIViayA9tUI
Roger Ritchie
A metal festival where everyone wears black and :censored:s on each others tits while listening to bands that have good drummers but :censored: everything else. Should have told you this two weeks ago. You might have enjoyed it more.
leeslover
I must admit that i'm not sure if the, "metal," look is right for kids but i am pretty sure it's not working out for people my age. The music and the general atmosphere was excellent though.
