maddog
Love the Chihuahua-Rottweiler comparison . I get his point about the diving. How do clubs get what they deserve in terms of free-kicks / penalties, when the officials are so poor / rules so open to interpretation? It's not ideal to take things into your own hands, but there needs to be some way of evening out these things - and there's no sign of the quality of officiating improving sooooo....... I'd say I can understand and to some extent accept diving if people have been clipped. If they have been put at a disadvantage by the clip. Ideally, refs would be able to be better at spotting these. Basically, I don't like diving and it's a toughie.
Stevie_J
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15152601.stm Thoughts? Stupid hissy fit, based on a few decisions going against his team. Not surprising coming from such a childish idiot. Anyway, by saying it, he's just planted a seed in any ref's mind that a Swindon player going down in the box has probably dived.
